“very knowledgable staff. Good range of available products to choose from at a good range of prices from the glasses perspective. However trying to organise an appointment for a 6 monthly contact lens check is proving very difficult. The 1 day I could do due to work commitments was subsequently cancelled. Rotas apparently only come out a month at a time which is very unhelpful for working people who do not work in the town and have limited availability to attend. To have to take time off work so that you do not stop delivery of my lenses is frankly not acceptable in this day and age”

“The optician was very professional,friendly, & helpfull. Very pleasant staff. The range of frames is very good. When I chose my glasses I asked if there were any special offers available, I was told no. However when I went to pick up my new glasses I looked at the reminder letter it clearly stated that there was 25% of frames for over 60’s, which was rectified on request by myself. There was also an offer for a second pair for half price, this was not mentioned. I would have taken up the offer for a second pair.”

“Great service from the branch. A big opportunity for potential improvement would be if the branch were able to email to inform when glasses and lenses were ready to collect. It is exasperating that they can only communicate via text message or post and yet we get emails such as this from central office.”

“Excellent Service from the Staff. Don’t like the fact that it’s a different person doing the eye tests every time you visit. Its about time you found a permanent replacement for Elaine Sargent. Also I like Rimless Spectacles, the choice for me is very limited. I know they are in other Opticians Shops, so why don’t Scrivens have a better choice.”

“BOTH MY RECENT EYE TEST AND RENEWAL OF GLASSES, AND MY HEARING TEST WERE DEALT WITH VERY CAPABLY AND I WAS PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE.”
