“After 3 unsuccessful attempts to resolve a simple issue with the customer care team on the phone, in exasperation I went into the Orchard Square branch of Scrivens in Sheffield. How wonderful and refreshing to be greeted by Abigail who not only listened but went above and beyond to ensure my problem was sorted immediately. She was extremely professional and personable and a true ambassador for the company. Thank you so much Abigail. It is just so disappointing that the customer care team seem so ill equipped to do the job for which they are employed.”

“The staff is extremely helpful and lovely, all except the manager who is surly and negative and creates a bad atmosphere. She doesn't try to put you at ease, doesn't smile, and makes you feel uncomfortable. I am not going to go to Scrivens in Malton again.”

“I was offered a cancellation appointment the next day after initially enquiring, for a hearing test,brilliant service as soon entering the premises,Abi conducted the hearing test in a clear and friendly professional manner explaining everything clearly how the hearing aid operated and how to connect to my phone and the after care service. Absolutely brilliant to hear clearly had to turn car stereo down, phone connection brilliant,a big t thank you.”

“I went today for a routine checkup at Hythe. Very professional and friendly. Very thorough eye check and free hearing check included. No sales pitch or pressure to spend more than necessary. Great choice of frames. Highly recommended.”

“Visited the Halesowen branch yesterday for my 2 yearly free eye test. All the staff I came into contact with were so helpful and caring esp with me looking into getting my 1st pair of glasses with reaction lenses. I highly recommend them.”

“The service at Peacehaven branch is superb! I can't recommend them highly enough. All staff were courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They explained every test and nothing was too much trouble. I particularly enjoyed seeing the 3D scans of my eyes and Simon's explanation of what they showed. Alex is brilliant, he knew exactly what style of frames I like, and was able to save me time by picking out some to try, and despite looking at others, I ended up buying the first pair he had picked out. Great service all round. Thank you.”

“Great service from start to finish, all the staff are super friendly and instantly make you feel welcome. My first time moving to varifocals and they talked me through the whole thing. Definitely recommend 😊”

“Everytime I get great service from Gosport especially from Andy and Mike I just love this branch I’ve been to Havant and waterloville to but Gosport is the best that I’ve been to”

“Came to the Fordhouses branch with my elderly father to ask how we can get him nhs hearing aids. Bloke we spoke to was very helpful but his female colleague was oblivious to the fact we were there! She was speaking so loudly and joking with her colleague that we could just about hear what the man was telling us. They are scrivens opticians and hearing CARE, but the staff need training on how to communicate with people hard of hearing!”

“I visited Gosport today and had the best service I’ve had before by a young lad called Andy who appeared to be working by himself and was quite busy before hand dealing with other customers. I came in cause my hearing aid wasn’t functioning properly he looked at my hearing aid and showed me that it was blocked by wax he cleaned my aids and they are the best I will definitely return”

“I visited the Hythe branch in Hampshire yesterday with my mum who had a difficult time at our local eye unit due to it being very busy and not enough communication. The staff at this branch were wonderful and spent time listening to my mum's concerns about her eyes and were able to answer all her questions! We both felt reassured when we left!! Thank you so much.”

“I was not looking forward to getting my hearing tested and having the hearing aids that i knew i needed however the staff we so friendly and considerate and i am delighted that i can now hear the leaves rustling in the trees ,bird song and the cry of our local Red Kites as they hover over the house. Even the running water in my kitchen tap sounds melodic. Thank you so much you have put a smile on my face and literally music in my ears .”
