“Eye test and hearing test efficiency done with the results acted upon thereafter. New glasses were recommended, fine. i asked if my existing frame could be used - this carried an additional cost of £35 apparently - i asked what this was for - it's a 'risk cost' was the reply, . "OK" i said "at least if my existing frames break while being made up, the lenses will still be good" Oh no, the whole cost is lost - including the lenses and we start again?? So the whole cost quoted is at my 'Risk'?? and i'm still none the wiser what the £35 is for? Anyway, all's well that ends well - i have my new lenses in my old frames, but i am still not understanding the additional risk cost?”

“Very pleased with the customer service provided. Especially given initially there was a 3 week wait for an eye test. I was put on a waiting list and called within a week. The glasses selection was made very easy with some subtle guidance by the team at your Walthamstow store. The optician who did my examination was very professional and friendly putting me at ease throughout the process. I had my new glasses within 2 weeks of my examination. Would definitely recommended and I will return for again for my next examination 🧐🙏🏿”

“First time I have had glasses. The eye test was very thorough and I am very pleased with the glasses I have purchased. Staff looked after me and the whole process from getting the test to receiving my glasses was just short of 3 weeks - which is a good turnaround.”

“Selena and staff are amazing, always helpful and explain everything, Selena helped me choose the right style of glasses for me and I couldnt be happier. The staff at your Cottingham branch are always cheerful, and considerate, I would never think of going anywhere else”

“Considering the Covid situation the service I received was as good as it possibly could have been, if fact I think the virus made no difference to the service provided to me. I will return to Scrivens for all my future sight requirements. Thank you”
