“I was very impressed with the way in which I was treated on my recent visit to your Bromyard store. All of the staff were most courteous and the optician himself put me at ease and conducted my eye test with the upmost professionalism. I am very pleased with my glasses and find reading so much easier now.”

“I am a first time user of verifocal glasses and quite frankly hated the concept. But Sylvia in the BLANDFORD optician walked me through from choosing the frames and lenses to personally fitting and offering as much after care as they require. I am very thankful for her expertise, knowledge and helpfulness. And I don’t hate them!”

“Scrivens staff and hearing aid technichian very pleasant and informative,put me at ease when i arrived for consultation. When i bought my glasses i was given the opportunity to pay in installments ,obviously a policy that Scrivens themselves adopt,and a very helpful one it is. With NHS hearing aid replacement for lost appliances the same courtesy does not exhist.The Herefordshire NHS want their money up front,which is a struggle for people living on a strict budget! So beware everyone if you loose a hearing aid you will have to pay £84,or could be more, up front for a replacement.Not the fault of Scrivens,but the health authority. .I wanted to alert future clients to this NHS policy as i have a low income and have an NHS exemption certificate,so was expecting some help with the purchasing of another hearing aid,and was shocked to find i had to pay the full amount on recieving my replacement. Thank You to Scrivens anyway for providing a propmt replacement service to me The provision of spectacles.and hearing appliances are a valuable enrichment to life,and i for one am very grateful for the service that they provide.”

“We have gone to Scrivens for our glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses for many years now and continue to be delighted with the excellent customer care and attention to detail we have found over this time. Everyone in store is pleasant to deal with, on top of their job and reliable for delivery dates etc. We actually enjoy eye-care with Scrivens, Rugby!”
