“Very thorough process for choosing glasses. Only issue was not full info given on UV reactive lenses, leading to a wrong decision to have them. Returned to branch and could not have had better service. Manager and other staff listened, accepted mistake and replacing glasses at no cost to me. Excellent.”

“My whole experience at Scrivens Opticians, Chesterfield has been brilliant from having my eye and hearing tests to choosing, buying and having my new glasses fitted. The staff customer care is absolutely the best I’ve ever seen and received. Tracey Jackson and her team really look after their customers and their needs. I highly recommend Scrivens Opticians, they really are the best around!”

“My husband and I went to Scrivens opticians. Would feel that our eyes matter most. (As a family we always goes to Boots and always felt the services is more focus on what they can sells not in eyes health). Very Kind/friendly optometrist and helpful assistant. I am very happy with our glasses. Now we know where to go yearly. Highly recommended this Optician.”

“The whole experience of eye test and ordering new glasses was excellent! All members of staff in the Penistone branch were extremely professional and efficient but also friendly and the advice I received was helpful and tailored to my own individual needs. Extremely pleased with the whole process!!”

“I had my eyes tested at scrives and bought 3 pairs of glasses from scrivens opticians. I am very happy with the service both the eyes test, the customer care whilst choosing glasses and also the after care. My lenses are quite complex and the sight in my new glasses is excellent. Thank you Scrivens.”

“I always feel welcome when I come in to the opticians. The staff are attentive,friendly and always have a smile. They put me at my ease regarding Covid-19 and the precautions they take. The range of NHS glasses are good and I don't have to worry that I will look horrible in them. I really hope Scrivens survive Covid-19 and continue serving our community.”

“Felt comfortable and well looked after by everyone in such strange times. Very thorough eye exam with everything explained in a way I could understand and really helpful ladies out the front who helped me pick glasses that suited my face. Fantastic service!”
