“I was welcomed by name as I walked in to Scrivens Alsager branch for my optometrist appointment this morning. My eyes were examined with great care and everything clearly explained. Following my recent cataract operation my new prescription was just for basic reading glasses. I decided to get two pairs (the offer was the second pair half price) and I chose frames from the modestly priced range. There was no pressure whatsoever to buy expensive designer frames for my simple needs. The staff at the Alsager branch have been looking after me for many years - not only my sight but also my hearing. I don't think any other optician in the area could beat the friendly professional service I receive.”

“Thanks to all the team at Scrivens In Cotteridge Birmingham .Sam was particularly helpful, patient and understanding ,as I took a little time to get used to the hearing aids. I am so pleased I persevered with them. Thank you. Also many thanks to all at a Scrivens eye centre, as I had several problems with my new glasses, everyone was very helpful especially Ann. “I would highly recommend Scrivens in every way. From the moment you walk through the door where you are greeted with such friendly staff who are attentive, courteous, polite, and respectful. The eye test is carried out in a comfortable room, and the Optician talks you through every stage of the test. I can’t recommend the Weymouth team enough because they really do look after you. You can walk away knowing they have your needs covered, and nothing is too much trouble.”

“had eye appointment at Scrivens in Newark. Jasmina was very efficient explaining everything she was doing putting me at ease. I was given a prescription without the embarrassment of asking for one but suggested I wait a year before renewing my glasses owing to a cataract starting to form over my left eye which will need removing in about a year. These people aren't at all pushy which is appreciated when on a low income. Would recommend.”

“Moved into Norwich last year. Both my wife and I have had excellent personal service from Shaun and the team at Upper St Giles St for our eye tests, glasses and contact lenses. The communication, welcome and service have been impeccable. On Monday I had an audiology appointment with Meghan. She was fantastic. I have the standard NHS hearing aids yet she spent over an hour with me, carrying out tests and re-setting up the aids. What a difference! Thank you to her and to all the team”

“I am very happy with the service I receive at the Sutton Coldfield branch. The contact lens lady is always very good and couldn’t be more helpful. My gas permeable lens was uncomfortable so I had the fit adjusted and also given a two week trial with a soft lens to see if it would suit me better. I also purchased new glasses and Maxine who dealt with me was really helpful and went through all the different options with regard to which frames would suit me best. Would highly recommended Scrivens for either contact lenses or glasses.”

“I recently attended your branch at 87 Upper St Giles Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 1AB after having problems with my NHS Hearing Aids. I found that even with the volume on full I was constantly having to say “Excuse me or Pardon “ and turning he TV level up. I was seen by your lady (I believe her name is Hanna ) and surprised at the professional way she investigated my hearing problems, I thought they would just turn the volume up but she when in to depth with a hearing test etc. The end result is I can now hear much clearer and feel I have got my life back, so thank you Hanna you are a credit to Scrivens.”
