“Whilst on holiday abroad I developed a serious eye problem. Scrivens optician were able to arrange a test for me with less than 2 hours of landing. They supported me through the issue, wrote a referral to the hospital for me and I was having an operation the next working day. Scriven's were efficient, well organised, professional, supportive and compassionate. The optician even phoned a few days later to see how I was. I cannot rate the team highly enough. I recommend them without reservation. Absolutely amazing service. I am so grateful for the care I received.”

“I waited 20 minutes past my appointed time for a hearing aids fitting at the Chipping Norton branch. I was then told that the practitioner "wouldn't be much longer". I had another meeting to attend so I declined to wait any longer and indicated that I would arrange another (hopefully punctual) appointment. The actual service that Scrivens provides is usually first class.”

“Eldest son visited Market Deeping branch today (first time on his own) he had a few concerns regarding his eye sight for his chosen profession and for driving. Optician was very thorough and wished him well for his future. Came home very happy and reassured. Thank you. (12/07/24)”

“Very through and good at there job. Highly recommend the Mildenhall branch as the staff are so helpful. I always fine it so difficult to choose new glasses but the staff are so good at helping pick the right frames for me.”

“I went for adjustment to my hearing aids and was seen by a young man named Sam in Cotteridge Kings Norton Birmingham who was an absolute delight. He was very efficient, professional, polite and new exactly what my problem was and was determined to help as much as he could. He spent time with me and even paired my aids with my phone. I would highly recommend him and just wish everyone was as thoughtful. Thank You so much Sam and wish you all the very best.”

“I've just call the opticians to book my step-dad an appointment for a referral earing examination and the telephone receptionist was so friendly and polite which was pleasing so I'm hoping that it's the same when I attend the appointment with him.”

“Clifton Scrivens - Nina, Svitlana & Sam I recently visited Clifton Scrivens with a rather unusual problem: my favorite pair of headphones was missing two tiny screws. While I fully understood that this isn't a typical job for opticians, I decided to try my luck. To my delight, Nina, Svitlana, and Sam went above and beyond to help me out. Not only were they incredibly kind and understanding, but they also managed to fix the issue in no time at all. Previously, I had been quoted a staggering £200 by Apple to have the screws replaced, so you can imagine my relief and joy when the Clifton Scrivens team resolved it so effortlessly. Their willingness to assist with something outside their usual scope of work speaks volumes about their dedication to customer satisfaction. The entire experience was nothing short of exceptional, and their impeccable customer service has made a lasting impression on me. It's rare to encounter such a level of care and generosity these days. Without a doubt, I'll be returning to Clifton Scrivens for my next eye test, and I highly recommend this incredible team. Thank you, Nina, Svitlana, and Sam, for truly making my day and showcasing what outstanding customer service looks like!”

“We have recently switched from another opticians, (a well known one which should have a reputation to suit) so glad we did! My son has been wearing glasses the majority of his life that he doesn’t actually need. We attended the Rhyl branch Mohammed the optician was fantastic, so thorough and friendly which is sometimes a feat with teenage boys but he was a massive hit with them. The girls on the shop floor were amazing in helping my other son choose the right glasses for him. We didn’t feel rushed and a lovely girl called Nichola took so much care and attention to what was right for him. (The wonderful Ella even made mum and dad a cup of tea!) excellent customer service, so glad to have changed opticians. What a team! Thankyou Scrivens for such a fantastic all round experience with my boys, which is usually such a mundane task.”
