“Ripon market place branch staff we're so helpful and friendly. I much appreciated them replacing a tiny screw that hold a varifocal into the frame. Without my glasses I'd be literally lost. Thank you so much”

“Visited Westbourne branch today for partner's eye test. Staff were extremely helpful and eye test very thorough. Linda especially was her usual friendly helpful self. Please please get some more chairs (see previous review) and another desk as they had before.”

“Scrivens Bicester, excellent service. Super friendly and helpful staff. It was my first visit today for an eye exam, the optician was very thorough and put me at ease. Both my daughter and I needed new glasses and there was a good selection to choose from. Will definitely recommend!”

“This is the 2nd time I have had my glasses from Scrivens, sight test very thorough, Dee very helpful when choosing my frames. A week later I have picked up my new glasses.”

“Have just visited your newly refurbished Westbourne branch and wonder whoever designed the layout. It is not customer friendly - there is nowhere for customers to sit whilst waiting for appointments. As Westbourne is full of old people I would have thought this would be a priority. There is now only one station where customers can sit opposite a member of staff when choosing new glasses. There is a lot of wasted space in the middle of the shop serving no purpose. Grateful for comments”

“Best OpticiansI have used for years. I’m a new customer and the detailed eye examination given was so professionally conducted. The advice given by the ophthalmologist during the test followed by excellent information by the staff to assist with my prescription gave me confidence that they really cared. Highly recommend this team in Bishop Auckland”

“Mildenhall shop phone and cancel appointments with lame excuses have use Newmarket before without issues but Mildenhall are offer poor service. Won't be using Scivens again.”

“Rugeley shop. Friendly, helpful staff. Prices a bit on the high side but make up for that with excellent customer service, not pushy, no hard selling, I got exactly what I needed/wanted with no pressure. They genuinely care. Will highly recommend.”

“The process of applying for my hearing aids was very straightforward, and my consultant very helpful and friendly. I was firstly referred by my GP and my appointment made very quickly, after having ear wax removal first. When I received my personal hearing aids, and had them fitted, I was astounded at the difference it made. and how hard of hearing I must have been. So it has been such a wonderful contrast to daily life.”

“Disgusting service arrived at 12 55 for a 1pm appt at 1 10pm l was told l couldn't be seen as previous appt was taking longer and that they would be at least another 20mins as a nhs patient and they say you are tied to them for 3yrs from first appt they think it gives them the right to treat you like this l do not think so”

“After moving to Ripley in 2023. I wanted a local opticians. I cannot describe how happy I was from start to finish. The receptionists are friendly and informative. I had an eye test and a hearing test. After the eye examination I received professional advise and guidance as to a frame and the correct type of lenses for me. It is a great service delivered well. I would have no hesitation on recommending Scriven's Opticians.”

“I had my hearing tested today by Abi Warrington at Gosport. WOW! After spending thousands of pounds and having had loads of tests and consultations everywhere over the last 15-20 years, Abi was the only one to notice that the test results and hearing aids were not producing the expected benefit. Ten minutes later, I could hear again after she made physical changes to the positioning of my hearing aids. What a revelation!! Thank you so much Abi; being able to hear again will change my life!”
