“Me autistic son has struggled with having his eyes tested properly and has been put on 6 months recall. Today we visited to see a locum Ahmed Qasi he was fantastic and had so much patience. Truly a massive difference from his first experience of a test with the resident optom.”

“I was referred to Scriven's via the NHS. I had low expectations as my wife had also been referred to a different private audio company (no names - no pack-drill) for hearing problems, and their service was very poor. However, when I attended my appointment I came away very satisfied with the result and the service. Since then I have been pleasantly surprised by the postal delivery of button batteries (quite out of the blue) on two occasions. Now that's good service.”

“Just turned up for my 09.00 eye test. Cancelled. I must be wrong the assistant said as we don't have an optician in today. I produced the email confirmation with today's date and time on and he said straight away that we got in touch with you. No you did not. Why would I have turned up. Then I got accused of being confrontational. Somebody needs to speak to this person as he is not doing Scrivens Plumstead Road Norwich any favours with his scruffy appearance and attitude. Needless to say I won't be going back.”

“Went for an eye test in Bitterne, Not given the eye test prescription after the test. I returned and the manager took my phone number. promising to phone me. He did not do so. I phoned again and he promised to put it in the post......still waiting. Useless, so cannot get spectacles and I hate being let down......will progress a complaint to their regulators and the CQC. By law, they have to give you a written eye test result.”

“went to the beeston notts have been going there for the past 20 years but this time the day after my appointment i could not see out of my right eye went back to shop and all i got was whatb sre we surpose to do about it”

“Customer service is excellent. The optometrist was very patient and fully explained what was happening all through both mine and my son's eye test. She then passed us to someone to help with frames who was very honest about the designs. A very thorough process and a pleasant experience. Thank you 😊”

“Visited the South shore Blackpool for an eye test and a hearing test very professional from making an appointment 2days ago to going for the tests today put at ease straight away all the staff are welcoming on entry and explained every aspect of my new hearing aids and new glasses can't recommend them enough Thank you”

“I had previously been to another opticians and they failed to pick up that I had Ocular Hyper tension. Luckily for my Scrivens in Sutton Coldfield picked up on this having pressure checks and I now am receiving the right medication for Narrow Angle Glaucoma and waiting for Laser treatment .They have possibly saved my sight.”

“Visiting Newquay on a weeks holiday and had a mishap with my glasses. I looked online and was impressed with the the good reviews so I called in . Only needed a new screw. Fitted immediately without charge by a friendly assistant. Haven’t used Scrivens at home but wood definitely use them after this experience.”
