“Popped in to book an appointment for an eye test and was told there had been a cancellation would I like it there and then. So yes. I explained my specific requirememnts in my new glasses and all the options regarding those were explained to me. There were a good selection of frames to choose from and 1-1 assistance in doing so. I was told it could take up to 10 days and I would be sent a text to say they were ready. Which they were and on time. I popped right down and had the final fitting and a slight adjustment to the frames to get them level. All very pleasant and I would definitely recommend Scrivens to anyone. A personal service that was a step above what you get in the national chains. Thank you.”

“Eye test 20/6, first pair couldn't read , second pair scratched. Still waiting for these to be replaced. Not impressed or happy with service.”

“Last Friday (14th July) I took my relative to an appointment we had made for an eye test at Scrivens Gosport, made in desperation as he had a painful and bloodshot eye and was not able to attain NHS help due to sadly overrun GP and Hospital facilities. In his eighties and almost completely deaf he received truly Royal treatment from all 4 4 of the staff and in particular the lady who carried out the test. I sat waiting for my friend and was able to overhear her gentle but elevated voice clearly through a closed door. Unusually, he seemed to hear every word and was thoroughly tested and examined. He left with what proved to be an accurate assessment of an ulcerated cornea, eye test results and her observations summary and a list of follow ups advice including to persevere for an appointment at Q.A. Eye Dept. He did. Armed with her findings and informed on his injury, he is being treated for his ulcerated cornea by Q.A.. The service, care and respect he was shown by Scrivens Gosport was outstanding. Be proud of yourselves.”
