“I haven't got my glasses yet, but all I can say is the staff in the Sheffield Orchard Square branch were very friendly and helpful. It's years since I had an eye test and my previous experience (not with Scriven's) was a waste of time and money, so I was a little apprehensive, I needn't have been, I felt completely relaxed and in good hands in the shop. The prices didn't seem bad, and I didn't have a long wait. All in all, so far so good.”

“Friendly staff very willing to help Knowledgeable and professional optition. A map included in the email would be really helpful showing location as even with Google maps is wasn't easy to find if you don't know the area. Luckily a local lady showed me the ally way to go down but I wouldn't have spotted the shop sign unless she had helped me.it did add to the stress.”

“Scrivens, Corporation St, Birmingham, is great.. All the staff make you feel welcome. They are helpful from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. They advise you on the style/colour of glasses that suit your face, to the contact lenses or type of hearing aids to wear aswell! I would recommend Scrivens to anyone. I did, my fiancé. He not only has his glasses from there, but his hearing aids to!”

“I was very happy with the care I was given before, during and after my eye-test. The test was carried out efficiently and considerately, and I felt that I was in excellent hands. I'm looking forward to receiving my new long-distance glasses. Thank you.”

“My opinion best opticians in Widnes .Staff are so welcoming and very helpful 100%.Emma I think her name was shop manager was lovely introduced herselfas i walked in makes a difference .Nadeem was not there this time who I have to say is so lovely and very thorough checking eyes .Highly recomend them .In fact I'm sending my husband there ASAP”

“Unfortunately I have not had a very good experience with the Witney branch. I have been a customer for many years but in recent times the standard of service has dropped significantly. Cancelled appointments and incorrect lenses in new spectacles. My husband is due for an eye test but I will not be recommending him to purchase his new spectacles from Scrivens. Such as shame, after being a loyal customer for many years.”

“I don’t usually write reviews but credit where it’s due. Went to the Rugeley shop a few weeks ago for an eye test. The staff were fantastic. Helpful, professional but in a really relaxed atmosphere. I’m normally terrified of getting my eyes tested but they really put me at ease and explained everything thoroughly. The eye test was very thorough and the optician was lovely. I normally shop around for glasses but I was offered several options and didn’t feel any pressure to buy so I bought them on the spot. Louise who helped me with my glasses is an asset to your company. You have amazing staff and I send huge praise to them all. Thank you.”
