“The ladies were pleasant, efficient, helpful and patient. The optician was very patient as the test lenses would steam up due to the mask I was wearing. This made her job harder .My visits to Scrivens has always been helpful and now more so due to the difficult times.”

“I've visited the Clifton store a couple of times recently and had the most excellent service by Nina - she treated myself and my elderly father with the upmost respect and she was friendly and professional on all levels and we didn't feel rushed at all - she offered to clean my dads glasses for him for free and was helpful and chatty and made my elderly father feel at ease - thank you”

“This was my first visit to Scrivens as used to be with a different Opticians. Rang me before appointment to confirm appointment and procedures of store regarding Covid-19. When entering the opticians- noticed it was very clean and tidy- hand gel was provided upon entry. Did not have to wait long for my appointment and the Optician was very polite and helpful (I was worried when they had to have a torch to look in the eye- as previous opticians only had a quick look- but very glad he was thorough with the procedure and informed me there was nothing to worry about). Did not feel pressured to make a purchase, but did so as wanted new glasses. Staff were very useful and gave me some recommendations as I was unsure of what frame style or colour to go for. Did not have to wait long for my glasses- and was glad to return to store with the ongoing coronavirus as knew it was safe and felt comfortable in the store last time. Again staff were extremely helpful and made sure everything was okay with my purchase and said if there were any issues to let them know. My new glasses fit perfectly and really enjoy the style.”

“Hi Due to some visual problems I tried to get an appointment at Specsavers but was unable to get one until September, so I called Scrivens in Diss and got one the next day. My sight was tested thoroughly and the optician kept checking my left eye and my glasses he could not believe what he was seeing my left eye had improved dramatically. He allayed my fear re the visual problems. I went back to the reception and was helped to try to find some new frames. Once we found the pair she did all she needed to do, what I did find that she did not do the hard sell like Specsavers did but asked me what I needed from my specs an did so accordingly. I have picked up my new glasses and cannot believe the difference to my sight.its great. I want to thank all the staff there they complied with the distancing rule and treated me like a person not a cash machine. Please pass on my comments and thank them for me. Yours Christine Pack.
