“Visited Witney branch today for eye test booked at short notice. All staff, especiallyJacqueline and Mr Cohen, very patient and reassuring as have been experiencing headaches. Ordered two new pairs glasses. Thank you.”

“I had a hearing test today at Altrincham Medical Practice, Scrivers staff never showed up nor bothered to let anyone know that they don't have plans to come. So all the people in the waiting room spent and at least hour and a half waiting for nothing... I would have put zero stars if allowed...”

“I told the staff I only wanted reading glasses and for looking at my computer. However when I picked up they had different lenses in that I had not asked for. I wondered why it was so expensive. I was told to give it a chance and I would get used to them. I didnt. In the end after weeks of going in to the opticians they changed them. This also took a lot of time. I only had a £25 refund for the two pairs of glasses that cost me over £300. I feel as though I was conned with the prices”

“The eye examination was fine. I was told I needed new reading glasses. As I had not had new glasses for about 7 years, I accepted this. When I got home and started using the new glasses they did not feel right. I could read better with my old glasses. I went back to the shop, and I was given another eye test and was told the new glasses were correct. I can still read better with my old glasses. I feel I have wasted £138 on new glasses I did not need. I will be going to a different opticians next year.”

“The staff at Scrivens Royston branch are always very helpful & friendly. I would like to give special recognition to Hilary who is always very welcoming & helps make my children very comfortable when they go for their eye test. Over all a very good service!!”

“Very good costomer service. Very good at answering questions of concern. Efficient. Very pleased with fast response, had my glasses with 48hrs. Fitted to perfection ,cleaned. An presented in nice. Protective boxes. Cannot fault scrivens. Very good team.”

“I visited Chesterfield branch and received a very pleasant welcome by the reception team. Staff courteous and professional. I received the same high level of service when I collected my new glasses too. I would highly recommend this branch based on service, cleanliness of the store, customer focus and choice of glasses available.”
