Absolutely disgusting company purchased doors refused delivery as they were the wrong doors. Will not refund me my money back has to go through PayPal to try and claim back my money as the company have told PayPal they will refund money if I send the doors back knowing its impossible as they already have them! Got all proof in emails confirming so still waiting 3 months later for refund case still on going so next move ombudsman. Savoy reply because of bad review. Hi Samantha, we are really sorry it looks like we have authorise a refund and it was not processed. we are unable to refund the agreed amount as this is on hold with PayPal. we are more than happy to process immediately if you close the case . Kind Regards savoy timber. Company now want me to close my case in PayPal then they will refund me?? Why not refund me through PayPal and then the case would be closed? 3months they have had my money for. Emailed the company they get the doors from to sell on their website got confirmation from them that they have the doors and I never recieved them!! Proof!! Stay clear of this company!

Ordered fencing, notified of delivery within 7-14 days, i gave it an extra week due to void situation, still no delivery. Called customer service, then had to ring branch, who didn't know where it was up to and gave me number for another branch said that order mistakenly marked complete. Referred back to cust service promised a call back no call back received, I called again to just cancel order, was told would be called ba k when actioned, no call back again! After ringing again the next day order finally cancelled and refunded. Disgraceful service!! I do not recommend Savoy at all. I orderd from somewhere else and recieved my fencing within 2 days.

Dear Mrs Morrison, Thanks for taking time to review us . I can understand you frustration that your fence panels were not readily available. Our team at that time we're working incredibly hard to get hold of these ,as our supplier was inundated with orders which pushed the lead time to 4-6 weeks . Only yesterday I spoke to one of the largest fence manufacturers in the UK and they told me they are struggling to keep up with demand and envisage catching up by October this year due to Covid. Door took months to arrive and turned up wrong measurements. Poor communications. Door sent back and then no contact or returned emails and no return calls. Lost order and failed to email after numerous emails. Eventually the door was returned but what a performance and no apology f Or the very poor service received.

Said it was in stock it wasn’t waited till the delivery day never turned up then had to wait another week.

Recieved my order very late despite several failed promises asked and paid for the worktop to be cut which it wasnt got a refund for the cutting service but for the price I might aswell have just gone to b&q if I knew I would have to cut it myself

Hi Mr Hardacre, We are sorry we did not manage to cut your item. Due to some issues that were caused but the covid crisis we were unable to offer our cut to size service for a short while. Ordered 4 fence panels 1st June,still waiting telephoned twice and was told I would get a call with update,no phone call,told 2 different stories when I rang

I would not recommend this company to anybody not only was my delivery overpriced £95 but after giving me two delivery times of which I had workmen waiting on my order nothing turned up and when my wood came there were four broken panels.I would not use this company again and would not recommend it to anyone

Waited 6 weeks for work top to turn up to find its was damaged and also edging strips missing,contacted them via pay pay and had no reply,ended up buying new work top and skipping the one I ordered and didn’t even get a reply or money back

I placed an order at the beginning of lockdown, paid for courier delivery. Savoy timber took my order and money and then emailed to say it would be delivered when the local branch reopened. I asked for a refund for the extra cost of courier delivery as it was now going to be delivered in house, I was told I would be refunded the difference, I never received any money and given up hope of receiving any. To add insult to injury when the order arrived the door frame was so twisted that it was unusable. Luckily my local timber merchant has reopened and I won’t ever have to use Savoy timber again

Long delay before delivery and when it came part of the order was missing. Poor quality decking, full of splits. Customer service is very responsive until you ask for them to do anything like complete the order, then they go silent.

Shocking service, takes your money. Tells lies, blames everyone else, sends damaged items no refund, blames couriers. Woukdnt use ever again and i advised all my clients not to use them either

Shocking, never received my item, no communication, 2 delivery days which I waited in for and nothing came,,, no emails, calls,, nothing escalated through PayPal for an refund. AVOID!

I still haven't received my order nearly 6 weeks later! Was given an estimated "2-4 weeks for delivery," and then told it would be delivered week of 20th July. STILL nothing. Over £130 spent and I've got nothing to show for it. I have emailed the company twice and was given ridiculously unhelpful and patronising emails back. If I still don't receive anything in a couple of weeks I'll be asking for a full refund. Won't be ordering from here again. I just hope that if I do eventually receive the order, that the items are wonderful and easy to put together to make this hassle worth while. Wish I could be more positive but this was meant to be a gift for my mum's big birthday and she's now been left with nothing. Savoy Timber should really consider switching couriers because Tuffnells are an infamous delivery company and it would make the lives of customers and Savoy Timber employees so much easier if they made a switch.

I was unimpressed for a few reasons (1) the first delivery driver was rude and, initially, extremely unhelpful, 2) I called a couple of times to chase a door and, despite being told that I would get a call back with this information, a call was not received, 3) One of the doors was damaged with water stains all on the door despite the packaging not being damaged, 4) The contact centre was unhelpful and, at times, patronising, 5) For the price, I was not impressed with the quality of the 7 doors ordered. I must admit that the second delivery driver was lovely and very helpful though.

Bad communication, misleading emails and 3 promised delivery dates which were failed. Wasted time off work, no apology and then the decking screws finally arrived 3 days after the timber?!?!

You Promised delivery one day and finally following me chasing your delivery company delivered the following day I wasted a whole day waiting with no contact from you DISGRACEFUL in this day and age with mobile phones??

I waited a month for delivery of decking which was a gift for my cousin as his wife hadn't been well. It eventually turned up with one pack short. I have spent the last 2 weeks back and fore on email (cannot get through on phone) and I'm still waiting. Really disappointing as they have never been this bad before

Absolutely diabolical customer service. Given delivery date, didn’t arrive - they said it was with Tuffnells for delivery they quoted a tracking number that didn’t exist, given another delivery date window of 5 days - didn’t arrive. Contacted them yesterday and they said they were having trouble getting stock ie my worktop was not even in stock, never mind our for delivery The whole thing was a tissue of lies. I have been waiting for 5 weeks. I could have gone to Howdens or B and Q and had the bloody thing fitted by now. Appalling

Hi Steve, I am sorry we have had issues getting your worktop to you . This is still within the 3 weeks lead time we gave at time of order and we are in a time of national crisis which is effecting our resources . But I totally understand your frustration . Kind Regards Savoy Timber
