What went wrong? I can't get through on the phone and your website is a massive pain. Three times I have tried to order using two different cards - your "sage" payment link is a joke, it debits my card then says authentication or verification has failed. I just hate all this messing about for one fence panel. I have cash right here, I could pay you today if I was allowed to. Call me 07519222956

Oder placed for work tops mid March Now approaching three months no delivery . Customer service is zero phone calls and emails but no resolution of problem. Just poor us understaffed! Get them back in of furlough if your that busy .

Hi Steve, I am sorry you not happy. We have advised we are unable to give timescales on fabrication. we have offered you a full refund if the timescales are too long for you . Your right we could furlough our staff and wait for the pandemic to end . Or we would work hard like we are doing to fulfil our customers orders and contribute towards the economy . Don't bother sending when order for along time Ordered work tops 3 weeks ago. Due to deliver today after checking yesterday called again today at 830 to be told call back after 10am we will give you the tracking and a estimate. When I called back I was then told we haven't even sent it out still sat here we can do Monday. Asked why they can't deliver tomorrow then they agreed. I called up again to ask for AM delivery to be told its gone now nothing I can do. Will wait to see if it actually turns up as this is now costing me money for there failure. Also they dont answer emails and takes ages to get through. If I had to order again I certainly wouldn't use them.

Bought a decking 'kit'. Nothing in the delivery constitutes a 'kit'. No instructions as promised on website. I thought a kit would involve pre drilled holes or grooves etc. We received planks of wood sawn to the correct length. Go to homebase, b&q get the wood yourself much much cheaper. I thought I'd spend extra money to make my life easier.

Dear Mohamed , thanks for taking time to leave a review . I am sorry you were not happy . We have sold thousands of kits and had may great reviews . Nowhere does it say on the listing that this is pre drilled . The instructions are on our site to view and we do normally send a set via email. Kind Regards Lisa

How can I write a review when I haven’t received the stock yet ? Nonsense , now received an email on the day the stock was supposed to arrive after 3 weeks purchase to be informed the carrier can’t make it for a few days , £25 delivery wasted sent joiner home today ,

Wrong description on website 4inch is apparently 31/2 inch ??? , now I’m short told to wait another 3 weeks, then told Preston click and collect, tried for three days , still not sorted , customer service terrible

The women who you speak to on the phones regarding delivery etc are bloody ignorant and rude.i appreciate the situation we are in at present but I’m still a customer and don’t expect to be spoken to like a child. I will most definitely never be using you again.Good bloody riddance.

Full refund would be nice. Complete waste of time and money. Will never use again. If it wasn’t such a shambolic service for delivery etc then I would have definitely sent everything back and demanded a full refund as the products were very poor. Maybe change name to totally terrible timber!!!!!

No communication, terribly late overpriced delivery (1 month, £15deoivery charge as no collection available) rang and emailed to no reply Then was suddenly delivered with no communication cane home to find left outside front door. No knock could have been stolen no confirmation delivery recorded.

Disappointed at the moment as only part of the order was delivered, waiting to hear what has happened to the rest of it. Would be 5 stars if it all had arrived or someone had found out where the rest is. I can’t have decking handrails without posts and enough spindles.

Everything was bad . Delivery took weeks and still didn’t arrive in time after that.completely ruined the week off I had booked to do the job,Poor Customer service. One guy says we can add to order, then another says we can’t. Terrible timber.. boards all warped and half the thickness of ones I’ve had from other suppliers. Also never seen so many splits in 3x2 (half of it Not worth using)..will definitely stick to my usual supplier from now on

I had a 3 week wait from order to delivery, which I accepted given the current circumstances. On the day of delivery the driver from Tuffnells phoned me to say he was an hour away. I'd taken the day off and the following week to get this done. An hour later the driver phoned again to get final directions, but the road names I didn't recognise, as it turns out he was in Wakefield 250 miles away. I phoned your customer service several times before I got through and spoke to Scott, who was very helpful within his remit. He explained about a new shop carrying out deliveries and there were teething issues. Scott said he would get the boards to me as soon as possible probably Tuesday, as today was Friday. I waited on Tuesday most of the day, and phoned late in the afternoon to be told by Scott there was another problem, my boards had gone back into stock, and he would have to send the order again. I phoned on Wednesday to check if my order had been sent. I spoke to Lisa, and after I related the whole issue she said she would do nothing else until it was sorted, and nothing else was done with my order, and she did not phone me back as promised. I phoned on Thursday to be told that my boards had missed the pick up, and would be with me on Friday. At which point I asked to speak to a manager to be told that Lisa is a manager, but Antony was going to speak to me. He promised much and delivered nothing, he even passed me to Scott without saying who he was when I phoned again. He has not phoned me back as promised to check to see if I had received my delivery. I suppose he assumes I have as I have stopped calling. I have to say that Scott tried his best within his remit, and it was not his fault. The two managers, Lisa and Antony need some customer service training to improve how they deal with customers, and they should not promise what they can't deliver. I on the otherhand paid £60 for my goods to be delivered a week late, I wasted a weeks holiday and I had to spend my Bank Holiday weekend repairing my decking instead of relaxing. Good product, terrible service, as I made all of the phone calls, and wasn't called once by anybody, I did all the chasing to find out where my delivery was. Truly disappointed with the service I have received from your company.

Tried to call numerous occasions called round on Monday no one about phoned again same thing rings someone picks up and it's put back down . I'll have now placed my order which was over 1000 pound

Waste of my time and not worth a single penny. After doing some research and finding out some quotes from both sides of the spectrum I settle with decking my garden myself instead of outsourcing it. What a better time to do it than now right? I settle with you guys as you are “a UK leading stockist of timber decking” and you are “..able to offer me the best price for quality timber decking delivered FAST direct to my home” Boy was I wrong. For £360.46 it is not bad at all, you promise it’s quality timber, it’ll reach here quickly and the kit includes everything I need to assemble it myself. By the time I got around to place the order the price changed to £396.51. Alright it’s understandable, the whole world is facing a crisis and the demand might just skyrocketed as many people find themselves in my same situation, stuck at home embarking to side projects. Delivery was a staggering £95.65 under “Delivery & Handling”. It all added up to £492.16 including VAT, a price that I was definitely not expecting. I guess it was foolish of me to think the delivery fee was included, I mean they have several branches nationwide and nice imagery on their site showcasing their several branded trucks and not a single disclaimer about it. Last page at checkout, there it is, suck it up and pay up. But is fine, the weather is only getting better, I’ll be able to make use of my space soon enough “creating my decking patio wherever I want one.” Of-course giving room of doubt as, again, the whole world is facing a pandemic, something that no business or institution is prepared for or had any sort of protocol but hey, they are open and trading so they definitely know what they are doing! Order is placed on April 24th 2020 The delivery date is set for May the 15th 2020 A whole 21 days, for the company who provides decking kits already set in measurements to find it, maybe cut it, because maybe they really haven’t got them in set sizes and overall put it together and ship it. Again the government was “clear” about asking the nation to stay at home so they might not have enough members of staff and yea its not like I’m ordering a toaster from Argos or a wardrobe from Ikea. When the goods are this size the whole process is more time consuming... I guess whatever. It’s now the 15th there is no set time of delivery but a 10 hour window slot, being a delivery of goods this big surely they’ll call as bare minimum one hour before delivery right? Well it doesn’t matter, it’s not like I’m going anywhere. “£95.65 delivery and Handling” Delivery arrives and there’s is not only items missing, but one of the boards is broken, others have trails of paint and staples around to which I found out about it thanks to the cut when handling. I didn’t want to sign for it for the obvious reasons, plus in your email you were clear about it; “..Sign delivery note as "damaged" and check and report any damages within 24 hours of receipt.” Well it didn’t matter because the courier did not let me sign anything with the excuse of “there is no need” but then produces to sign it under my name as shown on my emailed receipt. After calling all branches, get a response in only one, get given a number of a dry cleaners instead of their customer service line to deal with my issue I did in fact manage to get hold of the number. The fella who dealt with my issue already seem like he had enough by just answering the phone, I don’t blame him, times a tough and he’s probably the only one in office dealing with everything. He took note of my issues reassured me I’ll be getting the rest of my stuff delivered on the following Monday but I did not, the rest of the frame arrived which also was in poor condition, a total of 1 frame and 1 decking slide broken and the rest just not well looked after. Still missing the membrane. I overlooked the fact all timber itself was in poor condition, tried to be lenient with the minor things like the trait of pain, the staples and just focus on the heavily damaged stuff as you would probably take even longer to send me new ones. Called again to customer service and it was the same fella who picked up the phone, again not impress but when I expressed my disappointment he did seem to pay more attention and be more comprehensive about it. Today is the 26th of may. 32 days after placing the order I now find myself with a munch of wood in my garden because I can’t set it up because I still missing the membrane. Some of it damaged and honestly without the will of carrying on with the project. Still struggling to get any contact back despite the several emails At this point my only option is notifying Trading Standards to question not only the statements you claim in your website in coloration with your products but the lack of truth and detachment to good service. Honestly I do not feel like going along with the project any longer because I do not see a valuable solution where anything relevant gets to me on time. Order number 000048065 Gabriel S.

Placed an order on line rang to find what was the delivery date .was told they did not know and they would just leave it out side which was not very helpful as I work six days a week and the items could be taken away by anyone with out me knowing, not very helpful at all cart see that it would be that difficult to know what day and time they could deliver as they also taken a fifteen pound delivery charge, not happy at all.

The delivery driver was extremely rude and aggressive towards a worker I had at my house. At one point threatening violence.
