The finish on the doors was poor. The attachment of the hinges to the two sides of the folding doors was clearly done in a hurry and was not aligned. They required correction to the alignment of the hinge attachment and filling for rough edges and damage to corners.

The website said 7 - 10 days and it took a month. The doors are made by Savoy but say Magnet Trade on them? One was damaged but the carpenter mended it. The website accepted a measurement which was not possible (it did say the maximum width it would do but I didn't see it and the measurements were accepted which added to the delay) The handle supplied was ridiculous. A little plastic thing that looked like a bit of packaging. The staff are good at replying and customer service is good but wouldn't use again.

delivery was a day late to witch i had to make the call in the afternoon to find out it wasnt coming a waste of a day off work for the wife

Delivery was really quick and price as as the best I found. However I did ask questions about the product and also requests about cutting and installation which didn't seem to get noticed. The delivery driver didn't seem to want to speak (may of been a language barrier). On quick inspection after delivery I noticed 1 piece was chipped and one was warped in two directions, just hope there isn't more defaults when I come to install. Not the worst service I've had, but also not the best.

Website delivery time was misleading. It took nearly one month to receive my custom size bi-fold doors. A lack of proactive communication from the organisation led to some frustration.

The service was efficient and the item (a small section of kitchen work surface) was delivered on time. However, whereas the front edge of the work surface was shown in the listing as bulllnose, the received item was wrap-around. As I was matching up with an existing work surface, this was less than desirable. Additionally, there was a large chip out of the back of the item. The latter was of no consequence, as I had to cut a strip off the back anyway, but it would make the piece unusable if I needed to use it whole. To be fair, I did not raise the issues with the supplier because I needed to fit the work surface immediately to enable me to fit a cooker hob, and they may well have replaced it.

The advert was misleading in my opinion on ebay, thought i was getting a worktop next day, rang up to enquire, told it will be a week later, even though the shipping option was courier 24hr. After speaking with someone, didn't really care and could make no offers to assist me. Then suddenly the next day i get information that it will be dispatched the next working day. Emailed in to find courier information. got that information 3 days later after the product had been delivered !. Shame really because the product is great and arrived safely and now is fitted, but your Customer Services need improvement and adverts updating to be more informative

Hi there, thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed the product. I totally understand your point and we feel the same way when we put our shipping rates on our listings we have a number of days to process your order and then a method of delivery- in this case a 24hr courier service. To counter balance this we always give an estimated day of delivery so our customers see the day of delivery. Overall we have 3 methods of delivery - next day express on certain products, Express which is 2-3 working days and economy which is normally 7 working days . We would still utilise a 24hour courier service on all these options but the order processing time would be the differentiation- either if we didnt have the product in stock or if there was some fabrication that was required on the product. I will feed back your points on customer service which I apologize for and can assure you is not a usual occurrence. The order took 15 days to come and once a date was set for delivery you changed it. Also the doors I ordered came with no hinges .

Delivery was sent on time and packed very well. However there was a small chip to the board which I doubt happened in transit as it was really well packed. I was in a rush to complete so had to use it anyways and its ok but I am upset whoever packed it did not pick up on it before sending it out.

We check all orders for defects before we package ans can assure you any damages would have occurred in transit. if we had received photos of the damage we would have happily replaced the board for one in perfect condition. Wrong size .... I ordered 82x82mm by 1500mm newel post x2 ... I received x2 newel post 91x91mm by 1500mm so I had to return back

Item was not shipped with edging strip, this had to be sent later and too late for me to fix on this visit to my mother. Packaging was not good and resulted in chipped worksurface. Luckily I could avoid this when I cut to length, however leaves us with chip in the spare piece

The frame of the door is rebated to take the tongue and groove. Unfortunately this rebate was not the same depth on the top and bottom of the frame and the centre brace was too thick. This meant a 2mm gap along both frame uprights which had to be packed and caulked. Also there was a length of tongue and groove which was split and had to be glued. Obviously there is no quality control in place and I feel very disappointed in the product overall.

I was rather impressed with the website and the fact the product can be shipped to us next day. But after all when I make the Savoy timber aware to let me know one hour before product delivered I lost a day of work as I never received the phonecall from the delivery guys what cause late finish and fuming customer at the end.

I placed the order the day before i went to collect it, on the Savoy web site and paid via PayPal, which was quite easy and impressive. the next day i went to collect my paid order. the wigan store had no recognition of my order. i printed out my savoy order for store reference, which did not help. The order took longer than if i had walked in off the street to place the order, because they took so long trying to find my order on the COMPUTER... the store did not know about my order so i had to request the goods again. so don't order and pay online! ps, good products steve c
