“very pricey delivery cost, and still took around 6 days to be deliverd”

“timber arrived damaged, sent email with photos, no one bothered to reply. hand rail of poor quality looks like it was only dipped in preservative and not done under pressure.”

“Paid £125 for next day delivery. 12 out 13 items delivered. 3 days later still not received last package as being ‘misrouted’ twice. No one will accept blame or compensate for my loss. Very poor communication between themselves and ‘Tuffnalls’ and the paying customer. Very poor.”

“Delivery first it was to be here on the Friday 12 th and then getting an email saying the 15 th not good needed them for the weekend had to buy from another supplier on Saturday (b q ) ..”

“Ordered decking base kit and screws. The fixings for base kit and screws didn't arrive! Only recieved the wood, had to go and buy these separately which was frustrating as I hoped I would have received what I ordered and paid for”

“Called back to arrange delivery and the guy confirmed that it would be delivered on Saturday morning. By half 11 on Saturday I hadn't heard anything and spoke to a woman who advised it was on the van so won't be long. Called again at 1pm to be told that the delivery had never been booked in but the woman I spoke to this time was helpful and got one of the drivers to bring it which arrived at 2 but the wood was bashed around a lot at delivery. First time using savoy so would be wary about using them again which is a shame!”

“Delivery booked for Friday 29th March - waited in all day - no delivery. Received email late in the day rescheduling for Monday 1st April - had expected a Saturday morning delivery in view of this. My relative who came this weekend to help me construct the decking has to return home. No phone calls ( in fact I couldn’t get through to Tuffnells), no explanation, no apology.”

“The worktop arrived damaged. We could still use it though, but it had been packed with a large chip down one edge. This was not damage caused in transit, it was packed damaged, and the damage was obvious.”

“You advertised a 2m worktop at £25.35. When you got to the order page it changed the length to 1m in small text. I now have to send it back at a cost to me of £3 because I didn’t spot the change in going from one page to another. Not happy very deceptive.”

“Ordered 7 pre-finished doors online from them for close to £800 around 10 days ago and not had any contact with them, phoned them a few days ago and they said they will be in stock soon, phoned back again and they are now in stock and I had arrange delivery myself.”

“Board delivers 3 metres long when ordered cutting service. When complaining told initially it was my fault for not confirming size and then told that this product did not qualify for cutting service even though they took the money on the website. As a result the board was delivered with 3 damaged corners. Delivery driver did not want to wait whilst I opened the package. Resulted in much cutting to try and get a usable product.”

“The six panels on the door are not central in width. There is approximately 5mm difference on the left hand side to the right hand side. Did expect it better as a lot of money for what is normally a cheap door.”

“The product (a worktop) was ok but the delivery was shocking. The driver rang the bell, propped the worktop vertically against the front porch then drive off without even waiting to see if anyone was in. As I live on a main road this is totally unacceptable as if I were out for any reason then my delivery could have been easily stolen. Or worse, if the wind caught it, it would have smashed into my car. I won't be using this company again if that's the care they take with product delivery.”
