“Pod Point was recommended by Mercedes when I bought a new car so I booked an installation, it took around 2 weeks from order to fitting which is OK. Michael the electrician was very helpful and did a very neat and correct install. The device is quite smart and the app helps with charging times and records the usage and cost as well as finding charging points remote from home. Altogether, very happy with Pod Point”

“The installation itself was excellent. The electrician knew what to do- came up with good wiring options and had the device working in good time. The pre-installation experience was less optimal. It took a long time, required a lot of photos and it was not clear that extra work was required to be ready for the installation. This could have been a lot quicker and smoother. Customer service- once they responded - were helpful but there was a long delay and often I was having to chase up.”

“From the moment I paid for my charger the service from PodPoint was appalling. An initial site survey, which was suppose to determine the details and cost of the installation across my garden resulted in almost no information. The quotation was simply a figure with no detail of the actual works, and unsurprisingly turned out to be wrong. When the installer arrived to carry out the work, he did not realise that groundwork was required, and therefore could not do the job. Even when the groundwork was finally agreed, changes were made subsequently by PodPoint without my agreement and they claimed that I had agreed verbally, which was untrue. When the groundworkers were supposed to be at my job they were actually sent to a different one and hence were half a day late to me, resulting in them having to come back the following day to finish the work. When they finally arrived they were unaware of the detail of what they were supposed to be doing as no schedule of work or plan had been drawn up. Now my charger has finally been installed, the app still isn't working 4 days later with no explanation from PodPoint as to why. All in all this was a calamity from start to finish and I would never recommend PodPoint to anyone as a result.”

“He was very efficient and even had to reassess the situation even though he had completed the survey before. The company needs a good IT manager as information is being lost and not put on customers file so same standard letter goes out weekly which means nothing to the customer”

“The install engineer was on time, in fact, a little early. Explained to me the installation process. Proceeded to install the Pod Charger quickly and did an excellent job. Very tidy and professional job. The install engineer then set everything up and explained o me how it all worked.”
