Installed on time, quickly and precisely as I wanted with a reach to other vehicles. It is now in use and works fine. The installer was knowledgeable and professional. Altogether a good experience.

There were a few problems with Pod Point themselves at the beginning of the process - not responding to emails and me needing to chase them up, which was unacceptable. However, the installation process was great. Cameron, the engineer was first class.

The ordering process wasn't the best. I was able to order a 22KW charger without a three phase supply. I ordered a holster thinking I needed it but didn't. they sent it without considering whether I needed it and I now have to arrange for a return. That fortunately was the worst of it. The installer was superb, we made space for him but he able to work around shelves, etc we have in our garage. When I did call them, I raised for reasonable times, but I felt the people were trying to help me and they actually did. I love their customer service

Yet to utilise the Pod so cannot comment on performance. The advance notice of installation was clear and the installer arrived within the time slot provided. I was suprised that the installation was carried out by a subcontractor but it was done efficiently. The fitter was friendly and suggested a far better route from the meter box to the Pod than I offered. All in all a more than satisfactory installation. As a by-the- way I found the pre-installation survey which I had to carry out somewhat tedious. Without the internet and some knowledge of how to provide the requested photographs, you would be somewhat lost.

What a bad experience! PodPoint is clearly a business in trouble. I had to work really hard beforehand taking photos for them so that their time wasn't wasted. However, no one bothered to tell me what to do to make sure my time wasn't wasted. On the fitting day I ended up wasting my time frantically trying to find out what length of charging cable my new vehicle would arrive with, neither lease company nor dealer knew, so someone had to go out and measure the cable in the compound where the vehicle was waiting to be delivered. I'd paid a fixed price of a bit less than £1k. Since my car would be 10m away and the Pod Point option was 7.5m cable or none I ended up with the 'no cable option'. Surely I've been ripped off here! The fitter said PodPoint would contact me to arrange for me to buy a 10m cable. No one ever got back to me, despite my emails. In the end I had to spend £200 on a cable from Amazon. Effectively I've paid nigh on £1k to have a posh plug fitted to the outside wall of my house! What a laugh. Pod Point shares have fallen from around 200p when joining the stock market in November 2021 to around 55p at time of writing. The City doesn't appear to have a lot of confidence that PodPoint will become a profitable business any time soon and the challenges of getting equipment supplied with worldwide shipping problems and raw material inflation whilst running out of cash is worrying. Poor customer service. Feeling ripped off. I'd recommend you go elsewhere.

It was good the installer told me exactly how much time it would take and talked me through how long it would work. I had a couple questions about the app afterwards when I rang they were very helpful.

Quick and efficient installation. Installer was excellent, explained all the pros and cons of various installation locations, explained how everything worked once he’d finished and left the job site clean and tidy.
