“The planning before the installation would have been made easier if a surveyor had been sent rather than numerous pictures being sent. Having explained our electrical board was not on an outside wall it was not going to be a straight forward installation. Slightly disappointed with the overall install in that the engineer explained he didn't have an end cap for the trunking so it looks a little bit unfinished.”

“Process of ordering was straight forward. I was hesitant to order as you cannot see lead time from purchasing to installation but turnaround is very quick compared to other suppliers (1 week vs Shells 6 months). Engineer who completed the installation did a professional job however, I have a charging unit that does not work. Unable to charge vehicle (well, slight lie it intermittently charges at random times even though it’s displaying a fault), unit unable to clamp cable and have had lots of issues connecting to the app (resolved by Tech support). Now waiting for the Technician to visit to sort out the issues which is will be in two weeks. So far a very unhappy customer as the box has only just been installed.”

“Communication up to the point of the installation could be much better. It seems no information is passed to the engineer on the day so why take it in the first place? Getting a convenient installation date was difficult with dates simply being sent through and no dialogue.”

“Despite completing the extensive submission of photos, diagrams and the location of the installation the engineer turned up unaware a wishing to install it differently. The engineer did work quickly and efficiently and completed the required installation (in part). However communication has not been forthcoming and suddenly more work is required to actually complete the installation. And PodPoint are no-where to be seen.”

“Overall quite good albeit longwinded getting to finally instal. Providing the correct information & photos is a challenge if you live in an older house where it's difficult to know the names of what you're supposed to be taking pictures of. Podpoint guidance is quite good but not always 100% clear. We got there in the end having had to get UK Power Networks involved & the actual fitting went really well with the fitter doing his best to make sure cables are out of the way.”
