My experience of dealing with Pod Point was one of the worse I have had dealing with a consumer facing company. The staff would not respond to emails in a timely manner and wouldn't even present me with the complaints procedures. Generally the whole experience of trying to purchase a Pod Point charger was diabolical and I will now be using one of their competitors.

Carp Customer Service! Very slow in responding once the customer has placed the order and completed all formalities. I am chasing them at every pre-installation step and still struggling to get the installation date. I wonder if this is the level of service after taking £599 before installing EV charging, what I should expect after installation. I am seriously considering to cancel the order and go to company with a better customer service.

Appalling. The booking and installation process was very good, hence the 5 star reviews below. However, the charger was installed before I received my car. Upon plugging my car in for the first time the charger came on for 20 seconds before a click from the unit and a solid red light. Switched the power off as advised several times which didn't fix the problem. Logged the issue via email after waiting ages to get through on the phone, that was over a week ago and no response. Have called 3 times between and been told the call will be referred to the engineering department and on two occasions been told the call has been escalated due to me not receiving a response. The last call said I would get a call back within 24 hours but that was two days ago. Whilst I don't necessarily expect to have had the problem resolved I would have expected a call back to book an engineer to come out to the problem.

I don't even know where to start with the whole process, so all I will say is that I have the POD Point installed now and it works. Everything else from start to finish was an absolute shambles.

Everything from start to finish was diabolical!! (Except for the electrician and ground worker). (The ground worker and electrician didn't work for pod point!!) Honestly, what happened still doesn't seem real, I really think it would make a great comedy such was the fiasco!! You couldn't of made it up!! Pod point spoilt it so much, we have cancelled our EV car. They made it so bad we want nothing to do with charging cars!!! Shame there are not minus stars!!!

I’m still waiting for either a call or an email to confirm my installation date. Nothing at all following the initial completion of forms and survey. I can’t charge my car at home and have no idea when the installation will take place. Dreadful customer service

The pod does not work I have rang your service department 7 times and emailed but have received no response the unit was badly installed and left damaged

After a 5 hour installation I was left very dissatisfied with the finish. Very poor quality of work. Still waiting to hear when it going to be fixed despite chasing.

Recommended to use Pod Point by my Lease company. Am completely astounded and have never been treated this badly when spending so much money. Booked online, and filled in a document that I'd sent. 48 hours later i'm wondering why no feed back. Then realised that it was my fault I'd missed a link to another document that I needed to fill out. Another 4 days and nothing.. couldn't see what else I'd missed so I called. Apparently a new document was needed. Proof I had an electric car coming. Sent my confirmation docs over asking to let me know straight away if these weren't good enough. 48 hours later. NOTHING. Call again, they werent good enough. Pod Point need a specially worded document from the dealer. No one I know with chargers has had to provide this. When I said this isn't good enough, 9 days without any feedback after taking my money, they tried to argue that they had and it was all my fault and some people have had to wait months for their chargers and they cant prioritise one customer.

Absolutely terrible ordering and customer service - beware. Ordered a new Mercedes EV in early Sept - was recommended Pod Point by Mercedes and neighbour who has it already. Garage requested install and contact - nothing after 7 days so we both chased. They said that I hadn't responded to the garage, so I called them - they found the file but they had taken my email down completely incorrectly. Filled in the forms and paid the money. Next they gave me a date 7 weeks out - the car had to be delivered by the end of September. Mercedes called them and suddenly it 6th October !! I called them on the number they gave Mercedes - wrong number in Pod Point - guy said he would transfer me - cut me off! Had to call on main number and after 20 min wait passed thru 3 people until we got the "right' person. They said they needed a video of where the electric supply, bonding and cable run would go before they would confirm the date. Did the video - emailed it to them - heard nothing chased 3 working days before asking if they were still coming got a response finally day before the install at 3.30pm saying they didn't have the video and unless I sent it by 4.30 the install would be cancelled. Rang them - only number given by the woman mailing me is main number - after 15 minute wait get through to someone he was at least helpful in as much as working out how to get the video to them as their email wont take big files I suspect! Sent the video and she made sure the "Junior Domestic Project Manager" received it and not to cancel the appointment. I got a response "It looks like we would need groundworks to be able to complete the installation. The cable has to be secured to a permanent structure (usually that means a brick wall/fence) for the entire cable run. This could have been discovered quicker if we had the video of the cable run. Unfortunately, this means we will not be able to install your charger tomorrow." - I have sold and spec'd cabling in the past - it does not need any groundworks and is a constant run from main electricity panel to intended install position on a brick house! From the beginning they have been awful to deal with and as I write this I have a £49K car I can't charge and £500 with Pod Point with no means to talk to the person who has made this decision. I will wait 24 hours to see what response I get as I have escalated but have a distinct feeling it will be down to me to chase them ..... again but this time will be to their Ops Director and CEO. Shambles -

Waited 3 months for the installation. Nothing but hassle from start to finish. All they want to do is easy installations anything else will cost a fortune. No customer service what so ever. Worst company we have ever used.

Installed on 27/09 and still not working. Not for want of chasing, multiple phone calls and emails? This is costing me money to use rapid charging network. Disappointing!

We had the pod point home charger installed over a week ago. It is still not working. I called pod point several times to report this. No one has even called me back or attended to get the pod point charger working. Very poor after sales service. Would NOT recommend Pod Point.

It was a complete mess from start to finish due to it being outsourced to an incompetent company. They did not listen to advice from myself or my wife. We lost income and earnings from this project can someone please contact me regarding this

Do not use this service as they do not give you a full break down before they take your money. Poor customer service, I was left on hold for over 1h30m, in 2021 this is still happening!!! Shocking. You shouldn't even get 1 star!!

Pod point engineer wouldn't drill through two walls even though they ok'd the photos sent. Been on the phone for over two hours trying to get a refund.

Our first Pod Point installation was very smooth and efficient, but this second one was a total disaster. First there was a huge delay caused by the person running the project getting confused between the two jobs and sending misleading and inappropriate questions. When she finally got that sorted out she sent an installer who was unable to do the installation because she had not assessed the photos properly and failed to realise that the cable could not run along the flint walls of the cottage. Once we had run the cable through the loft space we made another appointment for installation, but she then told the installer to come on a different day but didn't tell us!
