On return it was raining bus dropped us off at bus stop 7 I left my wife with our luggage at stop 7 & went to our car drove around to try to pick up my wife then realised there was no access to stop 7 therefore had to park the car walk to collect my wife & luggage & both trek back in the rain. Also bus was not marked for plane parking

We parked at 12.30pm, took us ages to find a space in section L2. Had to walk quite a distance to a bus stop, just glad it wasn't raining! Got dropped off at the terminal, again quite a distance away. Coming home at 3.00am, we had the same long walk to the bus stop, had a while to wait for a bus and again got dropped off at a bus stop a good distance from L2. Again, very glad it wasn't raining! And when we put our ticket in to get out the car park, it said we owed £150.00!!!! Thankfully we didn't but we got a scare. All i can say is never again!

I have been parking with Plane parking at edinburgh airport for a good time. Just last week i parked with them again. This time different barrier and different set up. You now have to walk to another part of the main carpark to catch the bus. Spoke to other passengers whilst waiting and they felt the same way. Looks like plane parking are going the way as the rest of the sheep, just charge more money and give less. But there is others you can use.

Arrived at the airport, wasn't 100% sure I was at the right car park so used the intercom, was told this was the correct car park, however they didn't have my booking. After around 30minute hunt for a contact phone number online, I couldn't find one and gave up. Managed to find a shuttle driver in another car park, who gave me his contact details and said to park where I've booked and when I come back if I have any issues to call him and he would let me out the car park. I managed to find an email address while away for plane parking, emailed them and was assured my parking was now sorted and my booking passed on to the airport. Upon my return and arriving at the barrier, the machine said I owed £265! Again on the intercom, no note of my booking. Called the guy who gave me his details and he sorted it out for me. So I could leave the car park. If I didn't have his contact details I would probably still be sat at the barrier awaiting a response to an email as I doubt they reply midnight on a Saturday!! Still haven't manage to find a phone number either! Complete shambles. Wish I had paid more and went direct with the airport. Which I recommend to anyone else.

Parking is way too far away to walk to nearest bus stop with small children and lots of luggage. Too difficult to leave the car park even if you have already pre booked. Will no use again.

Their gate/system didnt manage to read my car licence plate, so it claimed that parking lot is full and did not let me in, even though I had online booking. After using the assistance button and speaking to a person I received a parking slip and was allowed entry. When I returned just a few days later, the gate did not open when I put my ticket in a machine and claimed I have to pay £58, once again had to use the assistance button and speak to a person who after checking my booking number then opened the gate for me. Poor, very poor.

There were no spaces, so we took ages driving round looking and waiting and making us late and stressed and had to just abandon car in the end

Too few pick up and drop off places. Long walk to trundle cases. Number recognition at exit did not work so had to find ticket amongst papers which we were not expecting. Will not be using Plane Parking again.

Had to park several hundred yards from a bus stop. Not very nice in the pouring rain especially when you pass bus stops that are no longer bus stops and certainly not 2 mins from the airport!!!!!

The advert states that a short shuttle bus trip is provided to the terminal but no mention of the 1/2 mile walk to catch the bus.......and in pouring rain it is no joke.

The car park itself is poorly sign posted. Internally you need to have a piece of string to find your way back to the exist! The car park is miles away from the pick up buses so don't have luggage with you. All in all the only advantage is that it cost slightly less than the long-term car park.

Easy to find car park.....pre-booked my car in for 4 days..priced at £34 that I thought was a good price. Unfortunately my flight was delayed. My booking was till 4am and I pick up the car at 4:20 am. When I put the ticket in the machine to exit the car park I had, being 20 mins late accrued an outstanding balance of £50 which I had to pay to leave the car Park. You must give yourself plenty of time or you will be charged a ridiculous amount for any short period due to delays.

I use this parking frequently. It's convenient for the airport. However the entrance is not well marked and is very narrow to get in and out. I note new temporary hatched tape on upright poles suggesting "near misses" at least! Once you have returned to your car, after a trip, there is absolutely no signage pointing to the exit from a crowded car park. The worst aspect is the not infrequent asking to pay at exit when you've already paid! It takes time to search through emails and find a parking reference number to communicate to the person able to operate the barrier from a remote distance. Needs improving!!

I always used this car park and it was really good, now its a nightmare, you seem to park miles away from where you used to. There is bus stops but you have to walk to i think its 5 to get the bus so if its raining you'll get wet. Unfortunately you only get what you pay for so no not the greatest.

The barrier ticketing process never works. On every occasion I have used this carpark you have to contact assistance via the barrier intercom and give a booking ref. to leave the carpark.

Told us to report to another car park. We were away for a week and were concerned that we had gone to wrong car park. On return and exit were told the charge was £100+ although we had prepaid. Had to use the intercom and give a code. Person had difficulty hearing code. Eventually got out. Next time would prefer a car park with an attendant.

Felt it was a bit far to the bus stop from the terminal, and not signposted very well

On arrival at the barrier I pressed the button, there was no response. After a few minutes and another car at my rear, I continued into car park. I phoned the number given at this time and there was no response. Luckily I had plenty of time and after leaving the compound for the second time and returning to the barrier I eventually got a response and with the information given,I carried on into the car park.. It was about 5-10 minutes before anyone appeared and said he would park my car. When I asked about the contact telephone number it was stated that the contact telaphone had been lost. Overall it was a poor service even though it was a short distance to walk to the terminal. A few signs would have helped going to and coming from the terminal as I was totally lost on the return from the terminal. I hope the above information will be helpful to other travelers who are using your service.
