“It was a fine service. However, my car was hardly valet parked. It was quite far away from the terminal. Probably would have been closer to park in mid stay parking.”
“I’ve used plane parking on a few occasions and think it is a great option.
On this occasion however the experience has soured my opinion.
With my return flight to Edinburgh cancelled I had to organise alternatives. By the time I’d sorted accommodation and new flights, I then turned to the parking situation to extend my stay. I was an hour too late to do that so I emailed the parking address to explain the situation and ask for help. Still had no response but was charged £80 to take my car out after a day and a half over my booking.
More than it cost me for the 4 days it was originally in for.
Disappointed at the lack of response and disgusted by the profiteering.”
“Waiting time for the bus both ways was short. Very good. When I got to the exit barrier, 11.30 PM, and presented my prepaid ticket, I was told there was an outstanding amount of £120 to pay! This was fairly quickly sorted out on the intercom, but a bit alarming. It felt like this was a fairly common occurrence. Handy site for the terminal.”
“Excellent service in cost for a 35 day stay. And excellent and regular shuttle bus to/from airport. Asked for and was sent an email receipt indicating length of stay and cost - as is so helpful. Wee glitch at gate on exit, as incorrect very high charge displayed. However, shared reg plate with 'help' assistance rep' on exit barrier and resolved instantly. Overall would highly recommend.”
“Always use Plane Parking. We never have any problem finding a parking space. Looks like there are additional parking areas that have been recently added. Bus service very reliable, with friendly drivers.”
“I have just came back from holiday and found Plane Parking very easy to use, directions are easy to follow to get to Plane Parking and once at the barrier it recognises your registration number and gives you your ticket. I found a space no problem and the airport bus came along within 5 minutes. Arriving back, again the airport bus picked everyone up within 10 minutes and when leaving the barrier once again recognised my registration number and there was no delay or problems at all. Excellent service.”
“Happy with the price and the shuttle bus came quickly and really does run every 10 mins. The car park was busy when we went (Easter weekend) so we took a bit of time to find a space. We also struggled to see where the bus stops actually were. Once all that was sorted we were fine. We’d use it again.”
