“My experience is always good and using plane parking all the time. However… My car unfortunately didn’t start because of cold temperatures past few days and when I talked to bus driver and later carpark security I was told there is no such thing as battery booster or any help they can do. Little airport assistance would be nice for little accidents like mine or flat tires or whatever can happen when parking”
“Only one bus running wait time was not long.
Lothian BUS in use not ideal for holidays, one set of doors lack of suitcase storage or floor space.
Would I use again NO.”
“Would have been an easy 5 star review, however the exit machine didnt recognise our ticket, so we held up the car behind a bit whilst it was resolved by the issuimg of another ticket, so still an easy 4 star review, with everything else superb, straightforward, simple & quick.”
“Check in was really smooth. Think we came out the wrong door because we couldn’t find it - did eventually. I’m quite short so had to spend a bit of time readjusting my seat and rear view mirror which is understandable. Took me a minute to work out what else felt wrong and the steering column had been raised, so just a note for anyone else to check these things before driving off”
“Easy to find a car parking space, can drop off bags at bus stops (only 2), friendly and helpful drivers, keep your own car key.
Quickly resolved the incorrect £200 charge on departure!”
“Only issue I had after booking and paying online before arrival. was when leaving I entered my ticket and it came up saying I had £145 to pay. After speaking to customer services through the intercom. They found my payment and raised the barrier”
“i have now used plane parking 3 times with good service the last time was 11/10/2025 at 1600 hours we stood at the bus stop along with about 20 passengers for at least 25mins in the cold clearly only using the one bus appart from that no problems”
“Easy to find plane parking car park with good directional signs and satnav. Self parking and chice of 2 bus pick up points with shelter. Comfortable bus travel and convenient drop off at airport. Bus ran on time with minimum delay.”
“Plane parking is reasonably priced and easy to find. I think I must have just missed a bus on the way back as I was waiting in the cold for quite a while for the next one.”
“Parking was spot on. Bus to/from the airport was pretty good. Only real downside was finding the place. Poor signage & i ended up driving through the dropping off zone & had to pay £6 to get out”
“It was mostly straightforward. The only issue was that I had to use the intercom at both entry and exit. On entry the barrier lifted and I couldn't get a ticket. I was told that, having pre-booked, I wouldn't need a ticket on exit. On exit, the barrier did not lift and I had to use the intercom again to give my details and have the barrier lifted. Other than this, all was well and I may use Plane Parking again.”
