“The unsmoked gammon arrived exactly when they said it would. It was beautifully packaged and is now in the freezer waiting to be cooked. It looks absolutely delicious. Brilliant service all round.”

“I have been using Pipers Farm for about a year now - some fabulous products - a few not so good….. I have reviewed products on an individual basis and made my comments accordingly. I have now found my favourites, such as duck legs, flat iron steak, venison burgers, lamb shanks, chicken thighs, breakfast sausages, short beef rib and saddleback pork. I will continue to try other cuts as and when. Sadly, as we all have to tighten our belts (particularly as pensioners) my Pipers’ boxes are now purchased as a treat - whilst the quality is on the whole lovely, we can only afford to buy less often these days 😞”

“No one gets five stars from me because nothing's perfect. I haven't sampled more than one item from this last order yet but the turkey leg I did have was absolutely fine. Not the first order of mine from Pipers Farm and I am happy to say that everything I have ever had has been first class. Worth mentioning is the packaging. I now live alone and for single people it is very convenient indeed to have inner packets of certain items (eg drumsticks) within the larger put-up. Would that others had the same forethought.”

“Pipers farm has been my default butcher for few years now. The quality and consistency are probably the main reasons, but also great flexibility on delivery times and loads of other good things. I am very much in support the sustainable, high welfare farming (quality over quantity). The choice of produce could be better however. The great pork neck steak seems to be gone. I would rather see more full cuts of meat instead of ready made sausages etc.”

“Great quality and definitely put in a lot for care for their turkeys. It came prepped with the other parts in a bag (so no mess) and even had leaves of rosemary stuck in the skin. It was the perfect size for the 7 of us with plenty of leftovers. Customer service was great, although there was some confusion on when the turkey would be sent as I ordered for a specific day and it came on a day I didn't expect it, but it came in time and that is all that matters.”

“Excellent choices and quality products - delivered on chosen day - however the fish (smoked haddock and plaice) was slightly defrosted on arrival, despite being well packed with ice blocks, hence only 4 stars. This will not deter me from re-ordering however, and will be doing so in a few days.”

“I was led to Pipers Farms because they supply organic beef bone broth which was recommended for my health. Ten of these a month on my pension is expensive but worthwhile. I have tried the minute steaks but as ever with minute steaks was disappointed. I bought a joint of pork for an open air party I was hosting. Sadly the crackling did not crackle but the meat was good. When I lifted it, with a fork at either end, out of the roasting tray to rest blood came out in the juices. Luckily this was not a problem. One person said the meat was chewy but was immediately corrected by someone who said it had been cooked just right. Happy to reorder. The blue stilton burgers are ok but disappointing. The chilli steak burgers are good. The steak burgers are excellent and I will keep buying these. Service is prompt and courteous.”

“The quality of products from Pipers farm is second to none! I’ve never tasted such amazing beef, pork & chicken especially. My only negative is the price point for the weight of meat you get sometimes, it can be a little inconsistent. A couple of weeks ago I had three pork chops delivered two were of good size, but one was so small and was pretty much all bone with very little meat on it. I’ve had the same with chicken breast, they look the same size but once pulled out the packet one was paper thin in comparison to it’s chunkier packet mates. Consistency is key in my eyes, so I would like to see better weight checks on their products. I’ve only had one bad delivery out of many, and pipers farm were so quick to respond.. less than an hour!! What great customer service, they sorted out my issues so quickly and efficiently. I was rather impressed! I highly recommend this place, makes you feel good eating it and knowing it all comes from the best place for animals. This alone is what brings me back every week.”

“Was very pleased with the speed of the delivery after I ordered and very pleased with the packaging however was very disappointed with the cinnamon buns which were quite expensive so I expected something special. As a household we thought the flavour was lacking, could have done with more cinnamon and I hate to say that frozen ones I’ve bought from local well known supermarkets have been better. All meat products on the otherhand were very good and I would recommend.”

“Really love the products we get from Piper's Farm. They are all of high quality. I find the plastic packaging quite frustrating as it feels like there could be less used - we don't need each individual item to be plastic wrapped.”

“Your meat is undoubtedly top quality but I wish you would address the overuse of plastics. Could you not add labels to the vacuum paked meat and dispense with the outer bag. I have been shopping with Pipers for over 20 years and I feel that the initial principles are gradually getting diluted as the business has grownn.”
