“Food arrived with a reliable courier, shoulder of pork was great - tasty and definately recommended. Fish pie was good and sausages whilst tasty have an unusual texture - we think possibly too finely ground up?”

“The meat from Piper's Farm is always excellent; the suggested recipes are also good. As with all food suppliers, their prices have increased, I will continue to buy from Pipers Farm but will inevitably have a lower cost basket. I had selected a Saturday for delivery: I did not see any information about there being an additional cost for Saturday delivery, and when I saw this, there was no option to switch to another date.”

“I would like to say the meat we had was beautiful but unfortunately the delivery service that Pipers farm rely on DPD got my parcel a day later and the joints of meat were already defrosted so had to give a couple of joints to the family as to defrosted to refreeze”

“I have used Pipers a number of times. I have sent their artisan cheese boxes to friends for birthdays, Christmas etc and they have been well received and praised for their content. Unfortunately on the last order they didn't have an item and forgot to inform me. Mistakes do happen but it was for a special birthday for my brother. They apologised when I called them to query what happened and they refunded the item and gave me a £10 gift voucher but I would have preferred them to fill their order when they had the item in stock or be given the chance of picking something else. However, I would still recommend them and their products which are first class.”

“The burgers were great, the sausages were a little too spicy, but not bad. I was a little surprised at the size of the fillet steak, considering the price, but have since been told that it wasn't exorbitant. I haven't cooked it yet, so can't comment upon its quality.”

“We bought the summer box along with the sausages deal and the produce looks excellent, it arrived timely and the packaging was very strong and durable meaning I was confident that the goods had been kept adequately on their trip! The only minor gripe was that the pork escalopes came labelled as chicken stir fry which had me scratching around to find the missing pork! Not a huge issue but did mean that I needed to double check invoice and product and make sure all was present. Certainly wouldn’t put me off buying again and I’m sure we will do when we’ve eaten all we have bought but just something to think about in regards to quality assurance hence the 4 star rather than 5. Thanks and we will be back!”

“Have ordered from Pipers Farm a few times now and the food is great quality. I can tell there is a lot care and attention given to look after and producing the best quality meat. Customer service has also been great any time we’ve needed.”

“The meat, as ever, was wonderful - very tender and full of flavour. However I was disappointed that the delivery company didn't let us know that the delivery had been made and, as a result, the meat was left outside overnight. I really appreciate Pipers Farm's efforts to make their packaging as environmentally friendly as possible but, although the wool composts well and quickly, the outer packaging remains intact after a year in the compost.”

“I love Piper's farm chipolatas/sausages because they are gluten free and don't contain sulphites which give me migraines. They are very tasty and go especially well with roast chicken. I also love the burgers because again they are gluten-free and don't contain any additives that I have to avoid. Just wish they weren't quite so expensive but the products are worth it because the quality of the meat is so good and I especially appreciate they are additive free.”

“Most of the products that I have had have been very good, especially the lamb neck fillet. However, in my last order was a beef rib roast which I will certainly not order again. It was very fatty, mostly bone, and the little meat that was on it was tough and flavourless. Ribs of beef that I have had in the past needed very little cooking in a very hot oven and have been delicious. I always rest the beef before carving, and I have to say that this latest one from Pipers Farm left a lot to be desired. The remainder of my order, or those that I have cooked, have been excellent.”

“Very good service. I order my meat for a month every month. I love the Pipers Points system, delivery is usually quick and efficient. Only thing that mat be nice is free delivery when spending a certain amount. Each month I spend over £100 and then pay delivery on top.”
