The sausages have very thick skins. They are more like hot dog s. Cauliflower cheese tasteless. Pies only said on the label spicy, the order says potato and chicken So I could not eat them The good. Butter lovely, bacon ok bit sallty. Sorry for gloomy review.

Hi Sue, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that some of the products didn't meet your expectations. Our sausages are traditionally made with natural casings, which can provide a firmer bite than some commercially produced sausages, although we appreciate this comes down to personal preference. We're also disappointed to hear that you found the cauliflower cheese lacking in flavour. Regarding the pie, the product you ordered was our Butter Chicken Pie. As butter chicken is a traditional North Indian curry, it is naturally made with a blend of spices, which is why the label highlights that it is spicy. We appreciate that spice tolerance varies from person to person, and we're sorry if this wasn't what you were expecting. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the butter and that the bacon was generally well received. We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us continue to improve both our products and service. Best Wishes, James

I had a tomohawk steak, which was lovely . A chicken which was lovely. However the pork joint I had was, very fatty and reduced to about enough to feed less than 2 people. The pork pie was a bit mushy , as this had been frozen on arrival. This has put me off reordering anymore meats.

I have been very disappointed with the Fillet Steaks over the last few months sadly, buying 2 (at £20 each) I expect equal sizes & exceptional quality as they used to be. I love the breakfast sausages & chicken is great. I would love you to look at quality control with your Fillets

The food is nice enough. I had no idea that it would have been pre frozen. Not ideal. I was ordering for the freezer . Not to eat all at the same time. Nice quality food though.

Hi Natalia, Thank you for your review and for your kind comments about the quality of our food. We're sorry to hear the meat being frozen wasn't what you expected. We freeze all of our meat before dispatch as it's nature's way of preserving freshness without the need for preservatives, while also helping to minimise food waste. This is clearly stated on each product page and in our FAQs so customers know what to expect before ordering. We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy the quality of our products. Best Wishes, James

Disappointing order from Edenmoor (first since Piper’s Farm rebrand). Some meat had defrosted on the way and one product was already past its use by date. The beef short ribs were SO fatty that there was hardly any usable meat on them. I’d had them before and they were significantly better. I hope this drop in quality is a one off problem and not because of the rebrand. Customer service dealt with the issues swiftly and satisfactorily.

I ordered a pork loin with crackling for Xmas dinner. After defrosting in the fridge quite a large part of the fat was a different colour/texture to the rest. After cooking it remained soft and was a disappointment actually. I did everything I would normally do in previous years but it did not seem to be up to normal standard. The meat tasted very good but part of the joy of roast pork is the crackling.

Hi Isobel, Sorry to hear the crackling wasn’t up to your usual standard this time. We appreciate you letting us know and we’re glad the pork itself tasted good. Kind regards, James

I bought the rolled beef brisket for £19 and I was sadly disappointed. It was very fatty and gristly. Most of it went out for the dog. Have photo but it won’t let me upload. Everything else I bought was fab

Hi Jayne, Sorry to hear the rolled beef brisket was fatty and wasn’t up to expectations. We appreciate you letting us know and we’re glad the rest of your order was fab. If you’d like, please share any photos later or share your order number and batch details so we can look into it and pass your feedback to the team. If you could email your comments and the image to hello@edenmoor, we will then be able to look into this further for you Warm regards, Liz & Team Edenmoor

Top class quality of meat from my previous orders, however living alone I find your minimum monetary spend has increased from £30 to £40 which I find excessive together with postage increase.

Hi Marie, Thank you for your kind comments about the quality of our meat, we really appreciate your continued support. We completely understand that a £40 minimum order can feel challenging, especially for customers ordering for one. The minimum order value is linked to the fixed costs involved in carefully packaging and delivering products safely. These costs have risen significantly, particularly for insulated packaging, ice packs, and overnight delivery. To keep our produce nice and cold and delivered in perfect condition, each order incurs the same preparation and delivery costs regardless of size. We subsidise a large proportion of these costs so customers don’t have to pay the full amount themselves, and the minimum order helps us absorb those expenses while continuing to offer the quality and service you expect from us. We genuinely value customers like you and your feedback, and we’ll continue to look for ways to balance affordability with maintaining our standards. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. Best Wishes, James

Disappointing

The smoked gammon was, as it always is, excellent. 5 stars We decided to have pork instead of a Pipers Farm chicken for Christmas this year. It was a disappointment. Much to our surprise, in spite of long careful roasting, although the meat turned out to be well cooked and tasty, there was a great deal of fat layered within it. The ratio of fat to meat must have been 50:50. Unusual for boned rolled leg, even for slowly grown pigs. Two stars. The crackling wasn't up to much either. This is the first time Pipers Farm has let us down in ten years

I’ve ordered from Pipers for years and have always been very happy with the products and delivery but this year was different. My Christmas order was due on the 23rd but as I got no message to say when it was being delivered I contacted Pipers at 8am - there was no response and that continued all day. Result was a very stressful day making calls and trying to decide whether to go out and buy something locally. The order did eventually arrive on the 24th but I then had to rush as the ham joint was required for dinner that evening. The actual order was complete, nothing missing and the meat was as good as usual but the whole experience could have been much better handled and given the number of complaints that I’ve seen on the internet a message on the website would have really helped. I shall have to think long and hard before ordering again.

Dealings with the farm were fine, but DPD dumped our expensive package in our paddock 50 from the house. By the time we found the package, it was totally soaked by the heavy rain. You need to engage a more reliable courier!

Shoping with you was an experience. While chosing my meat I was not sure what amount I was buying , so it was surprise when we opened the bag. In the future I will only shop where I know how much I am buying. Barbara

Hi, recently I got my order on Tuesday after ordering on thursday 24.07, everything was great however the 2x sourdoughs were disappointing as they were so hard and dry. I was expecting to taste the best sourdough of my life but they just didn't seem fresh maybe due to the fact we ordered on a thursday and didn't receive until Tuesday. We really love Pipers farm but this was rather disappointing. Thanks and best wishes

Hi Christopher, Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you love Pipers Farm, but we genuinely regret that the sourdough did not meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can be to receive bread that isn't as fresh as you hoped. I have checked our inbox and I can't see that we have had any contact from you regarding this, would you be able to send us your order details at hello@pipersfarm.com so that we can look into this and get to resolving things for you? We appreciate your support and hope to bring you an improved experience with our products in the future! Best Wishes, James

Their meat is good quality but I am unhappy with the way I was treated. I had ordered items which were not included in the package I received and I had not been notified in advance about this or advised that they were missing on receipt of the order. Yet my payment had not been reduced at that stage. I had to email the company before receiving a refund. They said they would have refunded me eventually. I still think this is a poor way to treat a customer.

Food was great. I put the wrong address on and contacted Piper's to let them know. I accept that's my problem and my error but I would have expected a reply eventually. In the end it proved lucky as the requested gift message wasn't in the parcel so when it went to the wrong address I was able to intercept and put my own so the recipient knew who it came from.

Redeeming points is complicated and tedious. One can only redeem in your designated multiples which is ridiculous. I earn points, I am surely entitled to use them when I want - I am in South Africa ordering for my children in the UK

The food was very well packaged and on time. However, having ordered a whole wild mallard, supposedly, big enough for two people, I'm wondering if those 2 people had had a massive meal immediately beforehand. It was, without doubt, the smallest duck I've ever encountered. Very underwhelming. I'm hoping the other items purchased are a little more rewarding.

Services generally good but all this 10% before a certain time seems to be a crafty gimmick I just can’t see the reduction at all ever
