“What a great company! The meat is incredible, such high quality and butchered beautifully. Love the use of regenerative farming techniques like mob grazing! So great for the soil which is fantastic (read sacred cow to find out why this is so great) the animal welfare is the best I've seen, I think companies like this need to be supported and protected. Last thing the price is great and the rewards are brilliant. Will keep recommending to everyone and ordering weekly.”

“Unfortunately I thought I was buying fresh meat but the joints delivered were frozen. Will not purchase again.”

Our meat is supplied frozen to preserve its quality and freshness, and this is clearly stated on each product page and in our FAQs before an order is placed. “We ordered the essentials meat box. The chicken is tiny. The steak, we cannot identify the cut but they are less than a serving and very tough. Expensive for what is offered, we will not be ordering again”

“I would give you a five star review if you had not refused to honour the voucher which was on offer prior to purchase. We are only talking about a few pounds but the lack of principle annoys me to the extent that I may not place further orders.”

“Very disappointing experience with Customer Service (Liz). We had a large(ish) delivery with steaks but everything arrived completely defrosted and noticeably warm with the delivery taking place outside of scheduled time at almost 10pm. We were denied a refund, having reasonably sent photos and multiple emails. This seems absurd that a company like this would encourage a potential health issue when strong potential of bacterial growth.”

Hi Tom, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience. We take the safe handling and delivery of our meat extremely seriously. Our delivery system is specifically designed to maintain the correct temperature throughout transit, and the condition of the products on arrival is assessed against those standards rather than simply whether the meat remains visibly frozen. We’re also sorry that you were unhappy with the response from our Customer Service team. However, we cannot agree that we would knowingly encourage a potential health issue. Food safety is fundamental to our business, and we would never advise a customer to consume meat that we believe is unsafe. Best Wishes, James

“My order arrived on time and was beautifully packaged. The rump tail beef was barbecued and served rare - absolutely delicious! Never had this cut before but will definitely buy again. The pastured chicken was roasted and was again delicious. This bird had led a good life - it was full of beautiful fat.”

“I've ordered a whole duck from you a couple of times. Absolutely delicious , awesomely low fat , high meat content. It was for a Chinese new year style supper, I found a recipe in my mums cookbook 'Singaporean cooking' involving airdrying and a light marinade. A bit of a challenge. A delicious treat with the pancakes, hoisin sauce and chopped spring onions etc. As there were a few of us, i also ordered a ready made peking duck kit from a supermarket, I'm afraid it was quite revolting in comparison. Congrats on the quality of your product.”

“Sirloin steaks, absolutely delicious full of flavour and brilliant to cook as required. Simply done with English mustard chips,peas, and a Portabello mushroom. Stand out. Bought six, so four to go in the freezer”
