“Hi I ordered Goose for Christmas It was delivered in time I had it in my fridge On 27/12/23 when I unwrapped to cook it had bad smell and in some parts had turned green Not your fault but missed the long awaited meal which we all were looking forward to 🥲”

“Ordering was straightforward. The cooking instructions were helpful and the turkey was delicious. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are: I received an email to remind me that I should book my delivery slot as they were filling up rapidly. I was concerned as I had booked my slot when I placed my order. To be fair, I emailed Pipers to query this and received a response very quickly to confirm that they had my delivery slot booked and apologising for any confusion. I also found the volume of emails promoting goods in the last couple of months somewhat tedious but, overall, the service is good and the turkey was well packaged for delivery.”

“The Turkey quality and packaging were excellent. The quality of the stuffing, bacon and sausages were also very good, but the packaging mainly of strong plastic was not good. That should be paper like the Turkey. Tha cranberry sauce was the best of the best. Thanks for making our Xmas special.”

“The meat from Pipers Farm is absolutely first class and we are comforted by the ethos behind the company’s values of raising animals in a caring and natural environment. The packaging is a bit of a bind if you have no compost heap but it is well packaged and delivery has been excellent. Sadly this Christmas was put into a spin as we were cooking at my brother’s house and he had no stock cubes to fall back on because- your “Pure Turkey stock “ was water and absolutely nothing else. It was totally tasteless and we had to resort to using the vegetable water. What on earth happened??”

“I want to buy and eat grass-fed, slow-grown meat. Some of Piper's items are outsourced from other farms. It would be nice to know who supplied the meat and products. I was disappointed not to be able to receive the milk I ordered. The muffins were put into a cardboard box with no other wrapping. It would have been nice for the muffins to have been placed on greaseproof paper or tissue paper. I had belly pork today and it was delicious and super crunchy crackling. You have to take care when to order and make sure you get the offers. I have been missing out.”
