“Trying to book using vouchers is unnecessarily difficult if you have more than one voucher. Recently using two vouchers having to get them converted into one voucher and then pay the difference on a card to wait 24 hours to get an email that says “we’re waiting for confirmation of your booking….” Seriously? The voucher and CC should be confirmation enough.”

“trying to find a staging venue on our long journey down south with two dogs was made a lot easier by using Pets Pyjamas. I knew that i was going to find suitable accomodation without the hassle of finding out if they were dog friendly. It looks a really lovely Inn for the way day down and we are looking forward to going there. I am about to look for similar on the way back”

“The first thing I will say is that the people involved in pets pyjamas are very attentive- lots and lots of emails and phone calls. However, I found the website experience to be abysmal- the sort and filter functions don't work well- for example it wouldn't filter accommodation based on date- so when I eventually found somewhere to stay it was already booked for the dates I had selected extremely frustrating having gone through hundreds of entries. I had been gifted £300 vouchers otherwise I would have happily gone elsewhere I found using this site a lesson in frustration- it took me 11 months to use the vouchers because every time I tried to find some accommodation I failed. I will also say that I am not convinced they are a cheap option- admittedly very difficult to tell due to none of the properties having a fixed rate. Again, they were very helpful over email but I did have to say multiple times that I didn't want a phone call (due to being slightly hard of hearing) but they kept pushing for that. Perhaps, it is a generational thing but I would generally prefer to just go on a website browse the options and book rather than having to wait for a quote (there is a book online option button) and or talk to someone because the place I want to book is actually already taken or similar.”

“I cannot in this day and age with all the technology we have at our disposal understand why when you book with this company they take your payment from your bank account the same day but if by no fault of you’re own you have to cancel I’m still waiting a mouth later for a refund. This is diabolical service. I am a pensioner I have phoned them a few times regarding my refund of over £400 pound and they are still holding on to it. What do people have to do to get their money back from this company. Do not use this company”

“Made it so much easier to look at hotels that are truly dog friendly plus when booking know that the hotel will be made aware specifically that you have a dog. This is our first long journey with our 2 year old lurcher who is not that great at travelling even short distances and as we are travelling to Scotland from Kent are breaking the journey with a night's stay in North Yorkshire on the way there and also on the way back.”

“The PetsPyjamas website has a selection of really good dog friendly hotels and cottages. We have booked now several times with them, and the website has been straight forward to use, but also the team behind it have been easy to reach via phone and email when we have had queries or needed to chnage things.”
