Have no issues with parts gateway their part went very well and numerous quotes were received. I chose one and now very sorry I did. The part supplied was not for the correct model year (the year and model were very clear on the quote). The supplier eventually refunded the original price, but I have been left to pick up the return cost some 25% of the original cost. Will not use Parts Gateway again, and would recommend anyone who does to use with caution.

Whilst parts gateway were quick and easy to use. The supplier was slow and didn't fulfill my order as I would have expected. I paid for a back seat for a vauxhall corsa and expected to receive the whole seat. Not half of one. I would not use parts gateway again.

The fuel tank that was sent to me was the wrong part. When l spoke to nottingham ford about this issue l was told that there was no way it could be as all fuel tanks from 2002 were a standard fit. Even though this tank did not fit my car. I am now stuck with a tank that's not needed with a no returns policy. I will sell it on ebay and not use this company again.

Felt that the small part (side indicator repeater) was overpriced and in poor condition. It was also found to be the wrong part but not worth the hassle of returning.

I found it very hard to get an answer from CWS on the simple question of the colour of the seat they were offering for sale. See trail on web site enquiry for clear evidence of one way traffic. When I finally got an answer, I agreed to buy what they were offering. The request was clearly made for a driver's seat to fit a 1998 Discovery. What CWS sent me was a 1997 version, which I took to my garage who found the seat that CWS had provided was impossible to fit, especially as there was no point on the seat provided to attach a safety belt. I phoned CWS who seemed to imply that it was my fault, but the enquiry clearly states the seat is for a 1998 version. I am returning the seat to CWS as not supplied correctly and I expect a full credit once they have received it.

The whole process is a good idea I think. However, when you put ALL of your car details in you expect the companies that respond to send you an item that ACTUALLY fits your particular car. This did not happen in my case. I was sent a part that did not fit my car, nor would it fit my fiancee's (she just had a newer year). They did ask for a photo of the part on my car, but you shouldn't need to do this as they had all the car information. I then sent the part back in original packaging (which was very good), signed for. But I spent ages trying to get a refund. You would send messages and wait ages for someone to reply back to you. 5 weeks later, because of chasing I got my refund. I may use Partsgateway again, but definitely not use the the company that cocked up (Johnsons Vauxhall Spares).

The part sent was incomplete and was not correct for the model of my car! I had to buy new as I needed the car.

Part ordered via PayPal and all seemed to go ok. About 3days later, I got a message saying that there was no name on the delivery address. Not so, I've had several items delivered in the last month to the same address with no problem. I eventually received the item almost 2 weeks after ordering. That also takes into account non-working days.
