I order a boot shelf and was sent a parcel shelf and when I rang up to ask about the man on the phone was not very helpful at all. Said he knew what we wanted but they did not have any send the other back and they would give us our money back and hung up. Thought he could of help a bit more.

Hi they were quick enough at setting you up with places that have the parts your looking for but I ve got an on going problem with sal-ford and Vauxhall spares as they were recommended but they supplied the wrong part which I swiftly returned and as of yet I'm still trying to get my money back due to no fault of my own so be aware.That's 4 days upto now and I'm doing all the phoning and chasing up of my money. They keep saying well phone you back but never return a call or any money owed to me...........

We are sorry to hear that you have an issue with Sal-Ford Vauxhall Spares. We have contacted the seller who have issued the following statement:- "Dear Mr Broome In telephone conversation on wednesday 13th may with sales representative Lucy you was informed in regards to refund being processed on saturday 16th may and the funds shall be available in your account on monday PM. We also informed you in regards to the part supplied that it is the corrrect part but you would have to change pulleys over, however due to your disagreement you rejected the part, all parts are fully tested and only supplied with warranty once derived as fit for purpose, therefore we are refunding you for the part at £35, postage costs are non refundable when parts are non faulty and compatible. Kind Regards Helen"

Not happy as not the same colour as the car! I had to put in my reg so predumed would have been exact colour!

On contacting Customer Service, the person who answered my call, transferred me to an executive, without acknowledging my call or advising me that he was transferring me. A very bad impression from the outset. Apart from the young lady who apologised for the dispatch error, I found a total lack of empathy, including from Sales personnel. When our item had not arrived after a few days we phoned to be told it had been delivered and signed for. However that was quickly resolved and they phoned back to apologise and promise it would arrive next day. It did. Your info says to check the parcel before signing for it even if the driver has to wait! The delivery man who came to us was pleasant but adamant that it could NOT be opened until after it was signed for. Not sure where that would have left us if we found a problem.

We have contacted the seller (Recycled Motor Spares Bury) who states the item was signed for by "A RICHARD" at 5:22 12 May 2015. Proof of delivery is available at www.parcelforce.com ref PBJE1703751001

I recently purchased a part for my vehicle from Fox Covert Dismantlers. Once I received it I realised I did not need the part due to being ill informed buy a Halfords Auto Technician. I have now been informed by the company that supplied the part that i will be charged an extortionate 30% handling fee and there is no free return policy. So in short a part that I dont need and have sent back has cost me approx. £24 frankly I am appalled at this practice and that Gateway allows this to happen to its clients that put trust in this service, if you can call it that.

We are sorry to hear you were not happy with the service provided by Fox Covert Dismantlers. All sellers are legally obliged to comply with Consumer Contracts Regulations and accept returns within 7 days of ordering. Unfortunately in this instance, that deadline was not met. The terms and conditions set by Fox Covert Dismantlers which are clearly displayed on the parts quote state "Orders cancelled after dispatch & parts wrongly ordered/ correctly supplied but no longer wanted may be subject to a handling charge/ restocking fee." PartsGateway has no control over such terms or which seller you chose to purchase from. If you feel this seller has broken any UK trading regulations, we recommend you contact your payment provider to put the transaction into dispute.

We are sorry to hear you were not happy with the delivery timeframe from MJM 4x4 Spares. Please note their quote did state " Delivery is estimated, not guaranteed" as they are at the mercy of the couriers where delays can occur.

I called them to ask for information. Person on the phone was rather unfriendly and not polite at all. At some point I thought to hang up. Anyway, I then ordered the part and it arrived in time and in the right conditions. Fitted and works well, so I am happy with the purchase. I.e. quality of the parts fine, customer service needs polishing...

the part from mg rover did not arrive instead I got a part from Bradgate motors 4 days later not a good a good service as I had a mechanic waiting to fit these part

We are sorry to hear you were not happy with the service offered by Bradgate Motors. This seller quoted an estimated (not guaranteed) delivery time of 1-2 working days. As you did not order until the end of the week, this timeframe is extended due to the weekend.

I would like to know that I was sent a invoice on my e mail of £35.00 but £42.00 was taken out of my bank account. Also had e mail saying that my money for returned item was been paid back into my bank account it as not reached my account as yet and I take that would be the £48.00 that I was charged for the second item that was taken out of my bank account Looking forward to hearing from you Mrs Kathleen Oneill Also door returned back to you today

We are sorry to hear you experienced a problem with your transaction with Sal-Ford & Vauxhall Spares. This is the first time PartsGateway has been made aware of your issue as you chose not to submit a support request but leave this feedback. We contacted the seller who issued the following statement:- Dear customer, as stated in our telephone conversation, the part supplied as per the information you gave us was incorrect and you happily agreed for us to dispatch another part compatible to your vehicle and you wished to keep the previous one sent out. However this part purchase price was £48. Your reimbursement was promised once our sales advisor spoke to you again when you wished to return this part but was received, this only yesterday late afternoon. Therefore your refund is being processed today and funds shall be available in your account on tuesday due to bank holidays. kind regards lucy

Ordered a part with correct part number and details, supplier sent wrong part, a lot of inconvenience and i have to pay for return postage which is very unfair as it wont be cheap but to get a refund this is what you have to do i can understand this should be the case if you give them wrong details then its your fault but otherwise they should pay for return, im not impressed at all, will try and buy new in future

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have had with VDub Shack. Each seller on PartsGateway have their own terms of trading which are clearly displayed on the quote under the "Returns" tab. In the case of VDub Shack, they state:- "4) Customer is to pay carriage on any parts returned, unless an alternative arrangement has been expressly agreed by ourselves. "

I emailed and telephoned the company Jaguar Parts ltd about the condition of a spare part because it said used OEM .I was assured that the part (Chrome trim for rear offside bumper) was new.ON receipt and inspection after delivery (item left on doorstep) I noticed a small dent and discolouration.Very dissapointing.

The quote clearly states "used" but as no online messages have been sent by either party relating to this enquiry, we cannot confirm what was said verbally Please message the seller via your customer portal (My Gateway) detailing your complaint or alternatively raise a formal dispute via PartsGateway support.

Don't know how to rate the service. I had a quote in 24 hours (5*). However the part sent (48 hours =5*) was incorrect (required part for roadster was sent part for roadster) 0*. Have emailed supplier have had no reply 0*.

I was bitterly disappointed with my purchase of the corolla rims they were extremely rusty and not in a suitable condition to fit new tyres too and they will require grit blasting and re-painting before fitting. Having been quoted £160.00 for this on top of the £100.00 I paid for the rims makes it a rather expensive mistake, When new wheels cost £160.00.
