I love Papier's designs and the quality seems wonderful. I was excited to write my holiday thank you notes this January -- however, the stationary I ordered arrived without a scored fold. To do it myself means that the fold cracks and splits, and ruins the entire aesthetic. Totally disappointed for what I spent. (Not to mention I also gave two sets as Christmas gifts, and they arrived the same way.)

I was really excited to receive my planner for 2021, but I was so disappointed in the format and the quality of the paper when it arrived. The paper is so thin, you can see through it even without writing anything. I tried writing in the monthly view's "To see & to do" and it is completely visible on the next page. It doesn't make sense to have a "wish list" and seems impractical. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it is strange if one month ends in the same week as the new month, there is a duplicate page. I really wanted to like this planner.

Not really worth the money. I paid £40 and quite disappointed. Front cover not printed properly so looks worn already. The pages for the week at the end of the month are in twice when this goes into the next month. Think this will be confusing when using day-today. Probably won’t buy again next year. Didn’t have the time to return the product and needed to start using the diary immediately.

Dissapointed no important dates in diary. Valentine's day, all UK public holidays, not Christmas day, boxing day and New year's day, why? Very disappointed

I was so excited to receive my 2021 planner after a friend of mine said how much she liked hers. Upon receipt, I Thought it was just as pretty as I imagined. However once I really started to get acquainted with it, I was disappointed in the quality. The paper used in the planner is super thin and transparent. I also felt that the cover of my planner was assembled hastily as the corners are not neatly tucked into the inside. As for the layout, I’m a bit disappointed- I assumed that the month calendar would be at the beginning of the weekly calendars. For each month- for example, it should have been organized with January month calendar then the January weekly calendars. Instead, all the month calendars are first then all the weekly calendars. For me, this isn’t a good organizational layout. I really really want to like this planner but it is more of an over priced disappointment. I’ve had planners bought at local stationary stores that are better quality.

I ordered the golden crane 2021 weekly planner. The cover doesn't look as nice as I expected (image quality not so crisp and the cardboard cover will look shabby long before the end of the year, I predict). The design is nice and I appreciate the flexibility of the customization tool. A note about an interior quirk that could prove disastrous: whenever a month doesn't end cleanly on the end of the week/Sunday, the planner reprints the entire week into the next month section (after two pages for notes/monthly goals). This might be a fine cutesy touch for an instagrammable (read: just for looks) journal, but since I use my planner as... an actual planner, I'll have to be very careful not to write down important meetings on the wrong identical decoy week. I really don't see what the point of this is, except to confuse the user. The more I think about this aspect of the planner the worse it seems--I think I'll need to just cross out the extra weeks or something (which surely makes the all-important aesthetics worse than if the layout just made temporal sense in the first place). Pretty annoying, because otherwise the planner's interior is plain and straightforward, as I wanted. I won't reorder if it's like this next year.

The exterior of the "Le Traditionnel" planner is great, love the style. But I wish I had known that the pages inside are SO thin. You can see pen ink (and even the printed dates/days in the planner itself) straight through the page. Really disappointed.

I purchased the 2021 Gold Crane planner in October 2020. For the price (US$28.99), I'm disappointed in the quality. I was expecting a premium quality planner. The hard cover feels well constructed and the cover design is lovely and elegant, but the interior pages are very thin, almost translucent. I can clearly see pen marks through the paper. It's going to be a mess once I actually start planning stuff! The planner has a confusing design, in which anytime the 1st of the month falls midweek, that week is duplicated on 2 different page spreads, one in each month section. It's a very misguided choice that I don't appreciate. (Am I the only one who would definitely lose track of something if I have to remember to check 2 different, duplicate week spreads?) Overall, pretty and elegant cover design but the interior leaves a lot to be desired.

The paper and the print quality of the Weddings Photobooks look and feel very cheap. Really disappointed. Would not recommend.

TLDR: I would not buy again or recommend to a friend unless they change their paper to a higher quality recycled paper. I purchased a 2021 agenda. The quality of the cover is perfect, I love the color and typography. Shipping was timely too. However, the inside does not match the outside. The pages are incredibly thin, you can see the design of the next page and whatever you write (even with a ballpoint pen) shows, which I was not expecting from a $35 planner. I'll do my research better next year and find a company that at least offers recycled paper at this price.

I ordered a hardback photo book. The printing quality is pretty bad and the paper kind of thin. If I were you I'd look elsewhere for photobooks.

I wish the paper was thicker. I use STABILO point 88 fineliners and the writing from the surrounding spreads are highly visible. Cute but not as high quality as other options in this price range.

The cards I ordered were cute but I ended up having to cut them in half and use them as postcards because the paper was so thick that they wouldn't fold properly. Hard to believe that was worth $80.

Ordered one of the custom diaries- I spent a considerable time deciding on colours/text etc. The diary came printed with the wrong colour. Feels like I shouldn’t complain just because the colour is different, but also paid $50 AUD for a diary, so you’d hope they would be right.

I have had a message from Royal mail asking me to pay a further £3.50 when you have taken £2. 95 ready.. Why? £21 for a diary ready expensive

So disappointed, was so looking forward to getting this as I ordered a diary a few years ago and it was such good quality! But I ordered a planner and this time the pages aren’t opaque as shown in the images on the website you can see print from the previous page through them, not the end of the world but deffo not worth the price, big drop in quality

My order has been lost in the post. It was due to be sent first class post, however on contacting customer services through the chat twice I keep being asked to wait another few days even though initially they told me if it didn't arrive in the next few days they would sort a replacement. It's been around a week since they should have been delivered now. I'm disappointed in the customer service. Previously I've had deliveries from Papier and the products have been nice, so it's a shame that the first time I've had difficulties the customer service hasn't been up to scratch. Also it is frustrating that the phone number doesn't seem to allow you to actually speak to anyone either ... so I'm resorting to leaving this review.

I really want to love this product — the hardcover is beautiful and I like the layout, but the paper is SO THIN. I can see right thru every page and it’s so distracting, it’s like it’s made of tracing paper. Maybe there is a reason for this that I’m not aware of. I’m not a very picky person, but this might make the planner unusable for me — very disappointed.

Please be aware that your photo book may be sent to another person all the way across the country. I ordered a book for my 90-year old grandmother who could not attend our small ceremony. We live on the East Coast. Our book was addressed and sent to a woman on the West Coast. Thankfully, she messaged me on Facebook to let me know and I contacted customer support. Papier is having *her* send the book to us *directly.* Even though she is kind and seems trustable, this solution requires us giving our home address to a stranger. Additionally, even though I'm sure she will handle it with care, the company likely has their own packaging and mailing techniques. Having a stranger re-mail the book makes it more likely to get damaged in transit. Papier did offer to refund the post office receipt and a portion of our orders, but said they would not be refunding either of us in full (she ordered a book recently too). I completely understand that mistakes happen—but these are enormous privacy issues, which is a very scary thing. This is not the same as a t-shirt or grocery order being mixed up. Photos of myself, my husband, our families, small children, our faces, and our names were sent out to a complete stranger. The quality seems great for the price, and we had even been considering using Papier for our Christmas cards this year. But this situation has really spooked us so I think we may reconsider.

I'm so sorry that there was an error with your photobook! This certainly isn't in line with our usual standards. We take this issue very seriously and have already begun liaising with our Operations Manager and Print Team Manager to investigate further. We of course would have arranged this redelivery for you both but were notified that the item was time sensitive and that this redelivery had already been discussed. There was a concern that this customer would be out of pocket, having arranged the delivery themselves and a member of our team ensured that we would be issuing compensation to both parties to cover the redelivery and inconvenience caused by this error which I can confirm has been applied by a member of our team.
