I bought the reading journal. Unfortunately, despite all the lovely things about the journal, such as the paper quality and design, Papier includes their own reading recommendations in the back. This is a dealbreaker for me and I will not purchase another Papier reading journal (or likely any other Papier product since I'm so irritated). Papier using page space to push their recommendations is a trespass on a book I bought for my personal use. It's like sitting quietly in the library enjoying the beautiful prose or poetry in front of you and having a rather obtuse librarian come over and declaim the library's mediocre "staff picks." Further, most of the books on Papier's recommendation lists are firmly in the mainstream (or at least the liberal-progressive mainstream). There aren't any unique/provocative/obscure titles on the lists. There's no indication that anyone at Papier has a personality. Perhaps these recommendations were produced by an algorithm. Do I want to spend time with that algorithm's recommendations? No, I would rather have that page space to document my own reading.

the address was wrong on my order, my fault yes, but it wasn't caught by Papier and I was not given a single update to say the order had been cancelled. I have used Papier many times but I am very dissatisfied this year, and a gift down for my partner

I ordered the recipe book and within a few uses, an entire chunk of the pages fell out of the book. This was with very minimal use and Papier refused to refund me for their faulty product. The best they could do was 20% refund. Won’t be ordering from them anymore

We do typically offer a partial refund to keep a damaged item if the item is still in useable condition as one possible option, I can see that a return of the faulty item in exchange for a full refund of the item had been offered in May at the time that you were in touch regarding support, but the partial refund was opted for by yourself rather than a return or replacement item. Ordered a £25 academic planner. The spine of the boom was broke and the planner came in a light green rather than brown?

It looks super cute and I love the personalization, as well as the contents of the academic planner. I absolutely loved it UNTIL IT BROKE the second week of having it. I got the spiral academic planner and carried it in my backpack. I tried to be careful with it, but the back cover came off within a few days. If I could go back, I would get the hardback. In a perfect world, the spiral rings would be CLOSED so that the pages cannot fall out.

Sadly I was very disappointed with my order. This was to be a wedding gift and unfortunately the photo quality is not what I expected. The photographs are dull in comparison to the original images, and look slightly grainy, it does not look like a high quality photograph book. On a positive note, I had made a spelling mistake on ordering, and the team were very friendly and quick to rectify my mistake which I am very thankful for. However, I'm overall upset and would not use this company again due to printed picture quality.

I'm really bummed to find out that Papier only carries undated planners now! I used to get my planner here each year and really liked the 12-month planners that were offered, now I'll likely be headed somewhere else :(

The product is lovely and exactly what I wanted. The notecards arrived on time. However, I planned to give this as a gift and the packaging of the item prevents me from doing so. I'd like a box to store the beautiful notecards and envelopes. I am giving this to a pre-teen and I fear it will be impossible to keep the notecards in any semblance of order in the manner in which they were shipped and packaged. If this is a money saving (or earth saving) on the part of the company, perhaps ask if I want to the pay extra for a box or carbon offset.

Ordered the gratitude journal with my name printed on the front. I didn’t realise my name was going to be so small. When it came I could hardly read my name on the front. It was silly this font size was even an option as it looks ridiculous. The journals are lovely design wise but they are majorly over priced for what they are. The gratitude journal is just too repetitive for me and I wish I had researched this better before ordering as I couldn’t return due to the personalisation on the front. I did however get a 15% refund which was minor compared to what I paid. I also ordered a pen to match my journal which was also overpriced for all the size of it. Disappointed and won’t be ordering again. There are nice options out there for a fraction of the price. A basic note pad and pen would do the job and wish I had done this in the first place.

For the price I paid for this diary, I expected better paper quality. And the fact that their paper is 85 gm has nothing to do with it. I've bought notebooks from Etsy with 85 gm paper that is smooth and so pleasant to write in it. The paper on this diary is coarse and it feels like it's absorbing ink too much and it makes the letters thicker than what they look on a Leuchtturm or a Rhodia notebook. Also this notebook does not lay flat, You open it on the day you're on, and the pages from the left will fall over on the right side, which is super annoying. Def not worth the price. I cannot return it since I put my name on the cover.

I was very excited about ordering two personalized items as Christmas gifts this year. However upon receiving the items I'm now embarrassed to be gifting them. Both of my items arrived with the title and personalization off center, one much more so than the other. The covers and designs aren't nearly as nice in reality compared to the website. The paper inside seems like a decent quality, but I'm extremely disappointed with the outside covers. Having the title centered should be a basic requirement. The items now look cheap which was the opposite of my intention for these gifts. I'm glad I got these on sale, but even so, the price point indicated a higher quality. If it wasn't so close to Christmas I would be expecting a complete reprint with expedited shipping at no cost.

I got the “Joy” bullet journal. I love bullet journaling and wanted to try a different company, but I am disappointed with the paper quality for the price paid. It is 85gsm paper, which is advertised, but I didn’t think it would be as bad as it is. It bleeds through with Crayola Supertips, and almost every pen I tried. For the same price ($36) I got an Amanda Rach Lee bullet journal with 160gsm paper, and it comes with a lot more (an elastic, a pen holder, and two place holder tabs). I won’t purchase from here again due to the quality for the price. I get that it is customizable, but for me personally, I would prefer better paper quality that being able to have my name on the exterior. I’m the video you can see that even yellow bleeds through, and I shook the paper in both of my journals, and you can hear the cheapness of the Papier journal compared to the Amanda Rach Lee.

I thought a that I was ordering the notepad with foil, alas the non-foil one arrived. Whilst it's likely this was my error, I'm not entirely sure as the order communication isn't the clearest. I was so excited for my personalised notepad, but now am very meh about it.

I bought a pocket full of thoughts sticky notes and a planner. The planner is fine. I wish each month calendar would be right before it's respective weekly spread. This layout isn't as functional. It's pretty though and feels good quality, but Ill probably go back to moleskin after this one is all filled up. The sticky notes are terrible. They don't stick very well but the pouch is cute.

I made a photo book and was really excited to open it on arrival, only to be really disappointed. The quality of the pages and the photos was really quite poor. The colors looked dull and washed out. Not sure if it was because of the paper? Or the colors. I don't think it's the photos because they were high res. If they weren't high enough quality, I would have expected the photo book software to tell me. The paper is not what I was expecting at all. I used to do iPhoto books and the pages were kind of glossy and the photos were sharp and the colors bright. I'm sad to say that this photo book I made as a gift for my husband looks pretty lame. It definitely does not meet my expectations. Bummed because I was thinking I'd make a bunch more photo books on Papier as Christmas gifts since I'd figured out the photo book system.

Really disappointed with the Scorpio notebook. It was £28 and looks far cheaper. Looks like something you’d get for less than £10. I don’t usually write a review unless good but this was so overpriced for the quality of what arrived. Very disappointed as it’s a gift for someone.

I ordered a customized planner that although I was notified has shipped, had never shipped via the carrier. Customer service was helpful in sending me a replacement, but then the replacement arrived with a huge dent in the middle of the hard cover (that can’t be fixed mind you because it’s a hard cover book). This happened with someone else below, too. When inquiring for a refund I was offered only 25% back of my paid amount for my customized planner. While the page layout of the academic planner is great and my main motivation to order it, the quality of product is much lower than I had anticipated.

My rollerball pen was such a disappointment. It could barely write, couldn’t leave a smooth line, and seemed like it was out of ink even though it was brand new. The mid year planner is organized in a way that seems illogical to me, with the monthly calendar for all months at the front followed by the weekly calendars. All of my previous planners have been organized by month, with each month’s calendar followed by the weekly calendars for that month. The whole thing is so pretty, but not functional and overpriced. I spent a lot of money on two pens, a planner, a notebook, and two pen clips, and I am disappointed.
