I made a photo book and was really excited to open it on arrival, only to be really disappointed. The quality of the pages and the photos was really quite poor. The colors looked dull and washed out. Not sure if it was because of the paper? Or the colors. I don't think it's the photos because they were high res. If they weren't high enough quality, I would have expected the photo book software to tell me. The paper is not what I was expecting at all. I used to do iPhoto books and the pages were kind of glossy and the photos were sharp and the colors bright. I'm sad to say that this photo book I made as a gift for my husband looks pretty lame. It definitely does not meet my expectations. Bummed because I was thinking I'd make a bunch more photo books on Papier as Christmas gifts since I'd figured out the photo book system.

Really disappointed with the Scorpio notebook. It was £28 and looks far cheaper. Looks like something you’d get for less than £10. I don’t usually write a review unless good but this was so overpriced for the quality of what arrived. Very disappointed as it’s a gift for someone.

I ordered a customized planner that although I was notified has shipped, had never shipped via the carrier. Customer service was helpful in sending me a replacement, but then the replacement arrived with a huge dent in the middle of the hard cover (that can’t be fixed mind you because it’s a hard cover book). This happened with someone else below, too. When inquiring for a refund I was offered only 25% back of my paid amount for my customized planner. While the page layout of the academic planner is great and my main motivation to order it, the quality of product is much lower than I had anticipated.

My rollerball pen was such a disappointment. It could barely write, couldn’t leave a smooth line, and seemed like it was out of ink even though it was brand new. The mid year planner is organized in a way that seems illogical to me, with the monthly calendar for all months at the front followed by the weekly calendars. All of my previous planners have been organized by month, with each month’s calendar followed by the weekly calendars for that month. The whole thing is so pretty, but not functional and overpriced. I spent a lot of money on two pens, a planner, a notebook, and two pen clips, and I am disappointed.

I was super excited to get my customized planner in the mail but I am disappointed now that there’s a huge dent right in the center top. That middle section was covered in packaging so i can’t image that’s when it was dented even though the sides are also messed up and dented. Papier should really reconsider their shipping packaging. Would not be purchasing another $36 planner from this company again. I expected more for the cost.

I was incredibly disappointed by the academic planner. I'm a college student, I bought a planner for myself and one for a friend, for her graduation. I've use other planner brands in the past and liked them so I wanted to splurge a little. The layout of these planners don't really work for me, the schedule isn't big enough and the location of full months vs weeks feels weird, but those are just personal issues. What really bothers me is the quality. 2 weeks into using it and the bookmark ribbon is falling apart. I like using color in my planners but even just a highlighter will bleed through these pages. I've tried a variety of pens and they've all been able to be seen through the pages. On the weekly pages there are little faces to color in depending on how the week went- which is such a great idea- but the first time I went to color it in (with a light colored highlighter) it both smudged the face and bled through to the next page. Genuinely wanted to love these planners but not likely I'll buy again. (Attaching images of the ink bleeding through)

I ordered the Papier Pen, which is super cute, but writes extremely poorly. It's gritty and the ink doesn't flow evenly, so it's like the pen is running out of ink. For the price, I was really disappointed.

I bought the minimalist hardback photo book for a 25th birthday present and I was really unimpressed with the quality of the printing. The images did not come out how they looked on my computer when I was putting it together. Having paid £38 I expected a much higher quality.

Envelopes so cheap you can read the letter without even opening! I would throw them away had I not paid for return address printing….printing that looks like it’s just times new Roman 🙄

I was very excited for this order but I have unfortunately been let down by the product. I have ordered the daily planner and I will say that the outer part of the planner is beautiful and even the set up of each page is very well organised. However, the paper is so thin that you can see the page behind it even without any writing making it very hard to have an organised page when you can see straight through. Additionally, once I have written on the pages you can see straight through and it gives the whole thing a very messy, unorganised feel since everything bleeds through. It is just unfortunate - for the price I would've thought it would be thicker paper and I would not purchase again due to this. I will say, if you are not bothered by seeing through the pages then I doubt you would find anything wrong with this product!

I'm sorry to hear you weren't 100% happy with your Daily Planner. Although you can use fountain pens for our products, you may see the ink on the other side of the paper slightly, so it may be best to use a lighter or finer pen for this. Cards arrived misprinted. Borders were uneven. Wrote company and after a week no reply. Denied charge on credit card. Disappointed.

The variety of beautiful cover designs is what caught my interest. I was searching for a undated daily planner with unfussy layouts. I loved the cover and layout, but it is not lay flat. In fact it seems to be anti-lay flat, as in I have to actively hold it down with both hands as I'm writing. This is very uncomfortable. It wants to be closed. It does not want to be opened and written in. I only used it for a few weeks, wasn't worth the daily battle.

I was actually quite disappointed with the quality of this diary for the price. It has a beautiful structure and design but the pages are very thin - on each page, I can see the next page through the first... I don't like this at all!

The designs are really great but my notebook arrived with the front cover applied on an angle. It was really obvious that it wasn’t straight and when requesting it be re printed and re sent, I was told that this is to be expected and wouldn’t change if they re produced it. Not happy with the quality at all, it looks like it has been push together really poorly. Sadly won’t be buying from here again.

I was disappointed with the quality. :( For some reason I was expecting a linen finish on the cover of the Le Moderne, with a custom sticker. Unfortunately, it's just a laser print on a single sheet. I agree with another review that the design/label is off-center. Also, the layout is not ideal, with the month views and to-do lists are concentrated at the beginning of the book, rather than following the sequence of the weekly view. No pockets to keep important papers either.

Disappointed in the quality of the paper in the 2022 planner. I was hoping since this was a stationery company the paper would be high enough quality not to show the ghost through of the lines printed on the opposite side. This might not bother everyone, but for me I prefer not to see the printed text through from the back of the page. The paper is so thin the printed text comes through, and unfortunately it makes it very distracting to read and write when the previous day's schedule is bleeding through. The quality of the cover and binding are wonderful, the design is beautiful, it is just the actual paper inside that I'm sad about. I was very excited to buy myself some nice stationery but this was just not up to the standard I expected.

I rarely leave reviews- especially negative ones, but I am really frustrated with my order. I am in nursing school and I ordered a planner (essential right now!). I chose next day air and paid double the price so that I would have it quickly. It was supposed to be delivered 1/14/22. As of right now the tracking still says “label created.” So, it isn’t on the way yet, and today is 1/15. I understand hold ups right now with shipping related to COVID, but the company is also responsible for getting the product out by a certain date, time, etc. to adhere to the option of express delivery. I feel guilty complaining but if anyone else expects to get their product quickly I’d like to warn them.

I was honestly very disappointed. Unfortunately I’m not sure if it was only mine but the colors aren’t vibrant at all. If you don’t see it online it’s cute in person but in comparison you can tell. It’s so beautiful online. In person the print looks dull and my name itself looks like it’s bleeding. Overall it looks printed on a cheap printer. It’s upsetting how it turned out. I wanted to buy the receipt book but am thinking twice about it now. I’m sure other prints probably look better !

Papier pens used to be my go-to for my office space and gifts for employees. That said, when I recently bought myself one over the holidays, it did not work. I asked for a replacement but was told that they could not guarantee a better pen. Customer service did not try to come up with a better solution, like a full refund or free pen refill replacements. Disappointed in the customer service and will be shifting my company's pens to another supplier.
