“Delivered the wrong composter which was collected promptly, but the correct composter still has not been delivered and so I emailed to cancel the order.”

“After placing the order I was informed it was accepted, then another said it was out of stock did I want to keep it on order, I asked (by email) how long it would be, no reply, I then phoned and after speaking to 3 people I was informed that they would get back to me. No phone call/email arrived so I gave it a week and phoned again, got a very nice lady who apologised and said there had been sickness.holidays and confirmed it would be with me early next week. It arrived on the Wednesday and is now installed. So eventually a happy ending, if only I had a reply to my first email confirming when it would arrive, it would have been very good service, sham”

“The wall mounted water butt arrived quickly and is of a good quality. The fixings supplied with it, however, are of very poor quality. I drilled my wall with the correct size drill bit and pushed in the plastic rawlplugs but the first coach screw used, sheared with very little effort when it was only half way in! I then had to drill new holes to one side as I couldn't remove the sheared screw and with the next one, thought I would lubricate it with some grease. It screwed in even easier, but again, this time when 3/4 of the way in, it sheared! I concluded the screws were of very poor quality so, not wishing to keep drilling new holes in my wall every time one broke, purchased better ones from the local DIY store. Having drilled even more holes in the wall as I couldn't remove the 2nd sheared screw, the replacements I'd purchased all went in without problem. The water butt is now fitted, does what is required of it and is very sturdy looking. It's just a shame the fitting of it is spoiled by supplying very inferior quality fixings.”

“The Gutter Mate rainwater diverter and filter collects more water with less risk of blocking than the usual diverters. It is fixed to the wall so it looks good and is designed to fit UK standard downpipe. The only problem I have is that even with the fine filter installed it lets organic matter into the tank which causes the water to smell.”

“I bought some transparent hose to connect my downpipe to my water butt. The hose is quite expensive, however it is already leaking in two places and I am going to have to replace it with something more robust.”

“I was unhappy because Guttermate sent the wrong tracking information. I had a code for Yodel when in fact the delivery was by Tuffnells. Personally I think that being green is not enough, you also need to be competant”

“Easy to fit, beware of over tightening screws if fixing to pebbledash. Do not put in hot water to make it easy to fit, it will collapse. Watch the video, it makes more sense. The Guttermate collects a lot more water than the original one due to the water being diverted from the centre of the downpipe to the outside.”

I looked on Utube at videos of how to set up as I didn't understand the paper instructions, (that's just me though, probably) worms are happy and I'm I'm happy. No email came to tell me worms had been delivered. It was a hot day and I could of lost them. That was my only criticism. I look forward to the end results. Thank you. Susan Clark”
