I have made 2 orders through the company the first time I put it down to COVID 19 but it also happened a second time. The first delivery took 10 weeks with no communications until I chased with an email and the second delivery they were waiting on stock again.

Product fantastic but service appalling, repeatedly lied to by staff regarding delivery delays, when I finally spoke to someone who researched my order properly it hadn’t even been processed and arrived 2 days later.

I believed I was dealing with a local company. After a long delay, several emails and much exasperation the parcel was eventually delivered to my grandchildren. Would think twice before using this company again.

Took my money but did not acknowledge order or advise delivery until I chased 5/6 days late. Delivery OK, but product wrongly described, indicating the water butts were slimmer then other cheaper items on the market. States dimensions as 470mm wide/deep, when they are in fact 540mm. had I known I could have saved some £60 and bought at my local homebase.

Having paid high postage, the item took ages to arrive, even having to email the company as to the whereabouts of the item...which I'm sure had been forgotten to be posted.

IT IS NOT ORIGINAL ORGANICS I WRITE ABOUT BUT THE CO. THEY PLACED MY ORDER WITH IE. CHARLES BENTLEY WHICH TURNED OUT VERY BADLY THE SHREDDER I ORDERED DEVELOPED AN ELECTRICAL FAULT AFTER ONLY BEING USED TWICE AND THE PROMISED REPLACEMENT NEVER MATERIALISED AND WHEN EVENTUALLY ASKED FOR A REFUND TO WHICH THEY AGREED WENT VERY QUIET. THIS EVENTUALLY CAME VIA ORIGINAL ORGANICS WHO WERE NOT THE REAL CULPRITS

Compost bin arrived broken. I managed to get it put together, but it's a poor product, as the plastic seems extremely brittle. I would not recommend.

Delivery was quick, however the order confirmation email arrived in my inbox about a week after the item had been delivered and I had to email to ask for confirmation that the order had gone through correctly. The quality of the item was unsatisfactory and I am currently waiting for a member of staff to reply to two emails I have sent requesting instructions to return to the item, so far no one has responded. Not happy.

I ordered 2 Fuchsia trees through the GoGroopie web site. After 11 days I had not received my order confirmation or a delivery date so tried (unsuccessfully) to contact them. Two days later I received a parcel that looked like it had been used as a football. When I opened it I found the remains of the 2 trees. Both pots had been smashed and all the flowers had fallen off the trees. The compost was bone dry and the plants had wilted and were loosing their leaves. I am now left with two sticks that do not look like they will recover. While I appreciate that deliveries are taking longer at the moment, it is still very disappointing to receive plants in such poor condition, which is why I will not be ordering any more.

I ordered 4 rectangular butts which were to be Daisy-chained together and replace 4 Graf water butts 12 years old whose tie-bars had rusted away. The bulged a water overflowed in the wrong places. Delivery took slightly over a week and 3 packages were damaged. It turned out that 2 butt stands could not be used. I reported and these were replaced quickly 4 days later. When I started assembling it turned out that one butt had a crack which opened when filled with water. Another butt started cracking where i drilled hole for tap and lost all its water overnight, A third started two cracks around the butt connector hole. The old butts had no cracks after 12 years1 I think that material must be sub-standard. I have requested a refund for whole order and await a reply as only 1 butt is usable and for how long is unknown.

Arrived promptly but so much packaging. All bottles taped up and then covered in bubble wrap in a box lined with paper. Very disappointed with that.

Poor service. Wrong item sent. They required proof by way of a photograph. Once they decided to change it they found the correct butt was out of stock. Insisted on return of slimline butt before despatching the ordered one, which arrived 25 days after initial order. The butt itself is good quality and provides satisfactory replacement.

Ordered 400L aerobin with the leachate hose extension kit. Received the aerobin in good time however the extension hose has yet to arrive. I'm told still to expect it but not had a reply to my last email asking for an update or a refund. I can understand things have been held up with Covid 19 but I don't understand why the hose didn't come with the aerobin. The item has always been in stock according to the website. On a plus note, the aerobin was very easy to assemble, looks good quality and hopefully will return to our garden a good amount of regular compost.
I ordered a wormery and duly received the bin, lid, and tap, but no drainage tray. The bin etc arrived in timely fashion but 2 weeks on I am still waiting for the drainage tray! I have been told subsequently that the original offer that I accepted did NOT include the drainage tray!! That was NOT clear in the advert! And why would you order a product without a vital component?? Poor marketing! A positive has been that email communication with Daniel Baker has been good.

Very slow service which would have been fine except for the very rude and unhelpful response I got when I queried the time it was taking. Not impressed.

I have been unable to fit the two removable access doors so the whole bin is fairly useless.

Product is nice but the assembly instructions are over complicated and written like fact piece than a how to build book. When I put the worms in they all climed out the lid
Hi Ryan, Thanks for the feedback on the product. The instructions have a simple step by step guide on page 1 with the rest of the booklet designed to give you additional information. Worms will naturally try to climb out during the early stages of your wormery as they do this by nature. The best way to combat this is to offer them the best conditions possible to live in as well as placing any escapee worms back into the wormery. Worms kept escaping from wormery. You should put a warning to seal joins with duct tape, or make sure sections clip together securely!
Hi Richard, That is a shame. We usually have a checklist of troubleshoots to help with this issue. If the waste or conditions are too damp, worms will try to escape. They will also try to escape in the first month as they work out where they are. There are a number of reasons why a worm will want to leave but there are a few solutions. You could shine a light once you open the lid, they run back into the waste quite quickly when you do that. Some people have also found using copper tape around the lid and tray tops useful as it is a non-harmful way of discouraging them from leaving. Of course this can only work if the conditions are not damp as you would not want to drown them! Delivery charge was very steep. My 2 items cost £13.98 and came in a medium sized envelope. Minimum delivery charge was £5.99. I had no choice of supplier as this was the only place I could get them. Even so, delivery was nearly a week - over 5 days but less than 7 days.
