“These are my second pair of these boots. My old ones are still going strong but just wanted new ones in a different colour. So comfortable and lightweight which is what I wanted .”

“Bought a pair of Topo trail shoes, which developed holes after 250 miles. They dealt very well with my complaint (the decision to accept the return was Topo's, not theirs). I wanted a different brand as a replacement, which was no problem. They refunded the difference in price. Later on I wanted another pair in a size I couldn't find anywhere online. I emailed them and they ordered me a pair in that size, which arrived two days later. You couldn't ask for better service.”

“What a great shopping experience! Last year I visited the shop in Newcastle, staff very patient and helpful as I tried in several pairs of trainers to get the right fit for my wide feet. No pressure whatsoever to buy, although I did purchase several pairs of injinji toe sock's that I love wearing. Recently I bought a couple of pairs of injinji socks from their online store, good price and fast delivery. I highly recommend Northern Runner. Thank you”

“I got my Topo Athletic Terraventure 4 Mens Trail Running Shoesdelivery withing 72 hours of ordering. They were replacements for the pair I bought 4 years ago from NR, which our new Border Terrier had destroyed! Great service, great shoes, great service and great value for money. Free Delivery. “Brilliant shoes! Was a bit worried ordering as had read other reviews saying the newer lone peaks weren’t wide toed or comfy, and that laces not long enough - but they are wide toed (perfect to progress to from vivos…love walking in barefoot shoes but seem to get injured running in them so these are the perfect solution…wide toe area but more support and padding underfoot!) and laces are long enough. Perfect for running the coastal paths! Thank you! I’m thrilled - wish I’d got them years ago”

“I have short, wide feet. None of the running shops around here stock any trainers at all in my size (womens 4, at least a D fitting). Brooks UK don't have any. But Northern Runner actually has a selection of shoes.”

“Bought online a pair of running shoes, delivered within 2 days. Unfortunately they were too small so sent back for an exchange to a larger pair. Sent out and delivered next day after reciept of my return. Could not have wished for better service. Superb. Thank you.”
