“These are great logs. We’ve been using Love logs for a few years now. The logs are well packaged in easy to handle and store boxes. They burn well and are perfect for our wood burner.”

“Love Logs are an excellent business. They are swift and efficient with all deliveries. I own a Hobbit logburner and their provision of small logs saves me so much time and energy, which as a pensioner is a real plus. I only wish I could utilise them more, but the understandbly higher price restricts me from using them all the time. Also I love the fact that trees are planted with each order - that's a good feeling.”

“So pleased to receive logs so quickly but, am a little disappointed with the quality this time. Quite a lot of bark which I’ve found difficult to light and it’s very smoky. Hopefully the rest of the box will be better. The hobbit logs are a good size for my burner.”

Hi Sue, Thanks for the review and I'm sorry to hear of your concerns! We don't remove bark from any of our firewood, but I think it's important to say that as we only sell beech and ash firewood, neither should have bark that causes much smoke or be difficult to light. “'Standard' logs are excellent quality as is kindling, either to use as main daily firewood or (more often) to mix with mixed seasoned home-grown firewood from our assortmnt of TPO'd trees or prunings from the parkland next to us. Ordering dead simple and delivery by DPD very reliable. I leave a trailer and tarp out on our drive, driver puts the boxes in and covers them. Later I hook up to the mower/tractor and tow the lot into the spare garage. Job done!”
