“I strongly recommend this business. New to the BBQ world, I was wanting to improve my cooking flavours. I was amazed, as were my guests by the impact that high quality charcoal has on a cook. It was transformative, for example, to the flavour of sweetcorn. Ditto souvlaki chicken and vegetable skewers. I will, quite simply, never go back to supermarket charcoal again. It's like going from instant to 'real' coffee. Love Logs were prompt, communicated welland delivered on quality. I can't wait to try the impact of wood pellets on my slow-cooked brisket this weekend. Wow!!!! Thank you so much Jon, this is the type of review that makes it all worthwhile 😍 There are so many things about good charcoal that make a difference to your food - the complete carbonation, the single species woods used, the high temperatures you can reach - and I'm so glad you found it! The cherry and apple chunks are going to take you to a whole new level!!! I'd go for cherry with beef, apple may be a little too subtle. Thanks so much for your review! Paul

“Originally recommended to Love Logs, Paul and Heather are always friendly and always provide excellent customer service (my experience to date). This time, I ordered some Charcoal and it came the following day via courier (DPD) and was extremely well packaged, with no transit damage. It's almost a first for me, given some of the mishaps in the past with other suppliers. The Love Logs natural firelighters are the best I've used, whether for our Log Burner, Fire Pit or the KJ. I'm finishing off some old charcoal before I use the new British produced charcoal supplied by Love Logs, but have seen it burning and oh my, its lovely. Thank you Paul and Heather :o)”

“I came to you after trying kiln dried logs from another supplier. Sadly they hissed, took longer than they should have to catch alight and even dribbled moisture. Not a good experience. Your perfectly cut splits were a great size, saving time with the axe and caught quickly and burnt beautifully. The smokey flavour on the beef was delicious. I've just ordered more. I'm yours! Thanks so much.”

“Love Logs are absolutely brilliant, I’ve spoken to both Heather and Paul and they clearly love their business. I bought the Asado Grill fuel kit which arrived promptly in three boxes and I’ve used it so far just once, the coals and wood are excellent and burn for easily long enough for a big cook! I can’t thank them enough and will definitely be going to them again!”
