“I could not believe how efficient London & Country were. I had updates by email and phone at every step and it really was a stress and hassle free experience. I would recommend them to everyone who is about to go through this process. Well done 5 stars!”

“I really do trust L&C mortgages. I've used them many times before. The only thing I was unhappy with this time is that a few days before I was due to complete, I was told that too little funds had been requested from my new mortgage lender to redeem my current mortgage, (which L&C rep had worked out for me), so I had to pay £670 to my new lender's solicitors in order to complete. This was unexpected. Luckily I had the funds to pay it, so my mortgage could complete , but I was unhappy about it, as I've got other expenses and this was not something I could have forseen. It's the first time this has happened with L&C and the first time things haven't gone as expected. So I am unhappy with that part, as it was a large sum of money.”

“Once again London and Country came up trumps in getting me a mortgage, this time helping me sort out a re-mortgage and getting a really good deal. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. I would thoroughly recommend L&C to anyone.”

“I applied two Mortgages with L&C. Residential mortgage perfectly handle by Advisor but unfortunately BLT mortgage is not handle correctly. For BLT wrong lander is recommended to me and unfortunately BLT mortgage is refused. My personal advise to L&C that L&C advisors should have great knowledge of products. I feel that advisor do not have enough knowledge on different product.”

“I approached L&C with an initial phone call - they listened to what we wanted and within a very short time came back with a number of suitable options to suit our needs. Mortgage advisor and appointed case manager were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The whole application and all queries from both sides were dealt with by either telephone or email, only having to print, sign & post our mortgage offer at the end of the process. To be recommended - very helpful & hassle free - thanks very much.”

“Easy straight forward process over the phone,beat all remortgage offers my local independent broker or myself could find.Local broker advised same company as L&C,L&C offer was a fraction cheaper ,over 5yrs it adds up plus no fees to pay them directly ( L&C get paid via commission which they are very up front about ). They recommend Premier Lawyers for conveyancing,legal work which I used as it was just a re-mortgage ..... this alone saved me over £1300 compared to local conveyancers,this was all done on-line,scanning papers etc.No problems what so ever,have suggested them to friends,family,will use them again in 5yrs !! L&C are on Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert site which gave me extra confidence in them.Give them a go nothing to loose not even the cost of call as freephone no..”

“L & C took the stress out of the process. Louise Ross in particular was always at the end of the phone and responded to emails and queries promptly and effectively. Would highly recommend as a first time buyer.”
