“L and c have been fine but using an out of town legal rep has been very stressful to such an extent mortgage is STILL not sorted . This has put me off ever using a mortgage advisor from out with my own town”

“Overall positive but I did need to chase up a good few times for confirmation that the process was running smoothly. A few times I was asked for something, so I sent it, but no confirmation was sent that it had been recieved. Also, I had emails from at least 4 different people - it would have been easier dealing with 1 but i understand that this is probably hard. Also, on the day on exchanging contracts, the 2 main people who I had contact with were on elave”

“I wanted to leave some feedback regarding a recent flat purchase. London is a fast moving housing market which can be demanding and often information is required quickly to not miss out on a property. My advisor was professional and always prompt to respond to queries, never being jaded by my barrage of questions. I had 3 purchases fall through for one reason or another yet my advisor was optimistic and vigilant throughout the year long period, always ready to answer my queries or provide information as things changed with the market and my situation. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to someone else in the future.”

“An absolutely professional service from start to finish. L&C really care about your mortgage needs and nothing was too much trouble, everything was always communicated so well and they always responded very quickly. “I completed over a month ago and am usually too busy to write a review (as I would need to spend all my time on this since I have strong opinions on the appalling service given by almost all companies nowadays). I am "old school" aged 53 and remember when almost all companies gave good customer service - now you do not even receive the aforementioned without the adjective). However, I had to find time to write about L & C (even whilst I am on holiday in a sunnier clime) as their service is so good it is not forgotten about easily. They offer old fashioned efficient and professional service as well as being able to provide the best mortgage deals available (I am a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant so I was able to check the facts and figures). L & C will take away the stress and save your time but spare a thought for them having to do what we do not have time to do which is hanging on the line to repugnant companies that care nothing for a client having to wait forever to get through). I was even able to speak to someone in respect if a problem on Xmas Eve - although my own adviser was off it was none of this "sorry no one else can help" ; the adviser I had not dealt with before was still able to get resolution. Thank you so much PD and NP - for your patience and professionalism.”

“Alan Offield advised me on my mortgage requirements. I was kept up to date throughout the process and the advice I received was excellent. I was also able to review my insurance and pension. I updated my insurance requirements as a result of the further advice provided by Alan. I highly recommend L&C to anyone who is looking to get advice on a range of financial products.”
