“Katie our advisor was fantastic! She advised us very well and answered all questions we had before we looked to buy then she was there every step of the way from putting the offer in on a house to completion. I could not have asked for more as she exceeded expectations - polite, friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond. The solicitor Premier Property Lawyers assigned to us by L&C were brilliant too. Stephanie our solicitor regularly kept us up to date with progress and their online portal for viewing and uploading documents was easy to use and very useful.”

“The whole process with L&C was very pleasant, both of the advisors (Thomas and Daniel) for our case were very helpful, they provided timely communication as well as useful advice for the application. We managed to get mortgage offer in a fairly short time, which can not be done without their help. I would definitely recommend L&C to my friends in the future.”

“Our mortgage broker doesnt get back to us to let us know what is going on with our morgage. We basically had to do everything ourselves, the only way we were able to get our mortgage approved was by calling the lender directly. Lender informed us that they had passed on information and requested further info from L&C on several occasions however this information was never passed to us. There is no sense of urgency and they don't follow up on what they are meant to unless pushed by us. They're very hard to get hold of as they never answer their phones. I wouldn't use again as the service is so poor”

“Our initial mortgage 2 years ago was very well handled but the remortgage had a problem - the capitalisation estimate was £1500 out, which we had to find in order to complete. Dan Regester was on leave when this all happened and his colleagues assisted but I have not had a reply to my emails... Disappointing as our first mortgage through Dan was well done.”

“L&C made the mortgage securing process simpler, stress free and kept me informed at every stage. Recommmended mortgage product was well evaluated, studied and best in the market to suit my requirements. The team was very professional and could not think of getting a better service & advise from other service providers. “Generally good but found the request for bank account details frustrating and unclear as to how to provide details from on line. Also slow responses at times with messages unanswered. However overall satisfied with outcome.”

“I have used London & Country mortgages on previous occasions and have found them to be good with good service however on this occasion my first dealings with an adviser named Louise was very good, but then i was given a case manager named David to deal with and his service was very poor, I could not get hold of him most of the time, and as a customer I found I was spending time chasing him trying to make contact and phoning to clarify things associated with my mortgage application. I usually made contact with him but only after tracking him down through Louise, the company would have received a much better review from myself if I did not have to have a case manager.”

“L&C were very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. As it was our first house process our mortgage adviser Andrew talked us through every aspect and suggested the right product for us. Our case manager Ashley was very efficient and sorted out the actual mortgage application. Great communication and service.”
