“Excellent experience, everything explained in plain straightforward terms. The Adviser, Christopher Redhead, was a pleasure to deal with and went through each step of the process in a highly professional manner. Everything went as smooth as clockwork resulting in the product being offered to me all within approximately one week. “Our adviser and case manager were both really good. I think there were times when we had to do a bit of chasing to make sure that things kept moving forward, and you have to factor in the time to send documents etc by post, but I think that's the same no matter where you get your mortgage from. But, overall we had a really good service and they found us the right deal. I would certainly recommend them.”

“L&C, while appearing helpful at first refused to assist me as a service member posted overseas with a BFPO address. They were unwilling to provide reasoning when questioned. Another disadvantage to serving the country!”

“I used l&c in 2013 for my residential mortgage, the knowledge of the "advisor" Chris was horrific, i am a qualified mortgage advisor no longer working in the industry (now in hr) so know enough to get by. advice - they tried to pigeon hole me to Natwest because of their easier affordability, i said no and told him Halifax affordabiliTy was tight but where i wanted to apply. He informed me 6 weeks in halifax would not accept part of my income, i had to explain to him what to say to the u/w's ..... Twice, in the end i sent him a script to follow. In the end we got there, i put it down to him being inexperienced. I have been contacted by Chris again to remortgage, i thought I would go with them for ease..... Boy was i wrong..... Firstly, tried to push me down natwest route again, then when he actually bothered to review rates, hsbc came up trumps. The inexperience feal was still there 6 weeks after the app, so i cancelled ap and sorted the mortgage direct with them myself..... Never again”

“Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Howard Dennis was great as was Kathryn Smith. One minor suggestion would be that you all talk a bit slower! It's sometimes hard to follow especially when, as a caller, you're not always sure of the terminology. Overall extremely happy with the service.”

“Used L&C for the second time for remortgage of both my residential and buy to let mortgages after they having arranged both my mortgages two years ago. Their services were once again excellent. They keep track of your mortgage expiry dates, send you reminders well in advance, find you the best deals from a wide range of lenders, help you guide through the whole process and respond promptly to any queries. Best of all, they don't charge you for their services!”

“Excellent service at London and Country. This is my first mortgage and so I have been very nervous. Kenny kept in touch the whole time with updates and reassured me when needed. What I will say is don't go with their recommended solicitor has I have had numerous problems and haven't had the same personal experience. I haven't even spoken to the solicitor only his assistants who are very rude. Not good when buying your first home. Pick a local firm.”

“Stephen Arnold was absolutely fantastic. He is one of the most professional and helpful people I have ever encountered. He was very knowledgeable and responsive. he resolved every query I had on the same day and followed up with me on everything. I would never want to work with another broker but him. Catherine MacDougall was also brilliant and incredibly helpful. “My Name is chai and I am first time buyer. I want to say that my broker Ben is a great broker and I will not buy my house without him. My house purchase last 8 months due to tenant refuse to move out. Ben help me extend my mortgage. Ben is so professional and good service .He always come back to you very fast if you need help.
