“Out of the list of surveyors given to us, we had a response from 5no companies all of whom gave a fairly detailed description of their services. All gave confirmed quotations for the survey and all quotations were within £30 of each other. This seemed to me to be a satisfactory way of finding a suitable surveyor.”

“The site was very easy to use and gave a number of quotes from different companies. These quotes were generally upheld by the companies when contacted directly. Having the results emailed to you means you can check them again and have the contact details on hand without having to go back onto the website. Overally a very quick and helpful service.”

“I recently being cheated by a so call surveyor recommended by your website ,I thought at least their qualification has been checked and registered ? Before they could be recommended to the clients? Thus reduce distress and any loss of money! But it was too late for me, but a lesson to your company to check thoroughly before using any surveyors !”

“At first I was not sure about how to go about engaging the services of a surveyor. I thought it would be best to use a registered body. The RICS and Local Surveyors Direct can up on my search, I then had a few companies contact me and were very supportive and informative. There was no hard sell just good clear advice and I was them left to decide. Great customer service just what I would expect from a professional company Thanks you the job is now done and I have the peace of mind”

“My cheapest quote came through Local Surveyors Direct and I've chosen accordingly. So it worked for me. The surveyor in question is from out of the area so, although I also worked through a search list of RICS surveyors and my chosen one was on there, there is a chance I might have overlooked him by presuming he'd not cover my area and missed out. It's free and responses were really quick so I'd certainly recommend.”

“Some surveyors actually responded by telephone Good some by email, can't be bothered with that But receptionists are not the people I the customer, want to talk to If you spend money advertising on the web for customers spending >£500, you need to ring me personally yourself within minutes. you may not have time to answer my questions, but I know i am talking to the organ grinder not the monkey”

“Survey was carried out within two days and full report provided within another two days. Very prompt service and excellent price compared to other surveyors. Also provided a breakdown of repairs and overall budget of repair cost which was very useful.”
