“Getting an email with quotes for different companies was helpful however I then had multiple emails from all the different companies reinforcing their quotes which I did not appreciate and had no way of opting out of”

“I appreciate being given contact details for various companies for a survey but since leaving my contact details with Local Surveyors, I have been bombarded with phonecalls, text messages and emails and rather than makng my life easier, I am now confused and frustrated. I do not appreciate constant phonecalls on a Sunday. I don't think companies should contact people directly, rather the customer should be able to do this themselves, or at least contact should be made just via email and the customer should not be bombarded constantly.”

“My request specifically asked NOT to be provided with information about surveyors. Of the five companies about which I received info, one was a surveyors, and it was not the last in the list.. This makes me doubt that the info I was sent was the most relevant. Even worse, the info provided was not available as a pdf for later use, so I had to cut and paste it. This produced a 110 page document in Word with over 300 blank numbered fields interspersed in the text that I had to remove. Sadly, the vast majority of this info was customer reviews of the surveyors - exactly the sort of info I asked to not receive. Two of the companies listed have contacted me 24 hours later. That's very good. However the overall design of this digital service needs to be improved so that users aren't sent the wrong info and so they can easily refer to info they are sent at a later date.”

“Indicated price was refused by one of the surveyors. Double check with the surveyor before moving ahead. I think this was down to that specific surveyor. Otherwise, excellent service. Used before, using now and most likely will use in the future. Thanks.”
