“Not impressed at all. I used the site to just get a rough idea of what it would cost. However a number of companies immediately started emailing me to quote for the job. It was not made clear that this would happen. As far as I'm aware my email address was given just to receive the results of my search. I found this very intrusive and if I do need to hire one I will not hire any of the ones that emailed me.”

“Instead of showing you quotes, they will send your email to all the surveyors and you will end up with like 40 emails and phonecalls. Its a supremely stupid system.”

“Have been spammed. I was expecting the list of local firms to be provided to me, not have my personal contact sent out to 20 firms. I’m sure there is some fine print that says they will share my details, but was not prominent and if I knew that was going to happen would have not used the site.”

“Not happy with your web site as I only used it to look up list of charges. . I did not expect to be bombarded with emails from companies suggesting that I had a wish for them to act on my behalf. Which was totally untrue.”

“I was just searching for information first but had to enter all my contact information. Immediately I started to get calls, emails, texts. I had intially just wanted to read up on the different levels of survey but that info was not available unless I signed up. I expected to be given a list of surveyors to chose who to contact myself. Instead I was bombarded with calls emails and texts. It was overwhelming and at inconvenient times. I can't rate customer services as I didn't have any contact.”

“Entering details into the form - explicitly specifying level 2 survey required - got my email spammed by at least 8 separate surveyors and 3 unsolicited phone calls (so far), all quoting for the more expensive level 3 survey. This is not a comparison site, it is a leads generator that operates purely in pushy surveyors' interests at the expence of the customer. Only use it if this is what you want.”

“I contacted one of the recommended electrician companies and received no reply so that was a waste of time and effort. What is the point of recommending such a company. Had they replied and said they didn’t want the job then that would have been ok.”

“2 firms responded at first. One was extremely expensive, the other quoted a price and then followed up with an email to say they didn't do the type of survey we required. A waste of my time really.”
