In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“I was interested to compare costs and access locally based surveyors but since entering my details I have been spammed with dozens of emails. I suppose this should have been obvious to me but I didn't expect to be bombarded with the amount I have received.”

“Search produced 6 companies with 6 prices. However 2 of those then hiked thier prices by 28% and 63% putting into doubt the point of a comparison website. The other 4 did however confirm quotes and provide appropriate information, so the service is useful but not as accurate as it should be.”

“Got lots of quotes from different surveyors, which was great. But was subsequently bombarded with phone calls from each of the companies within minutes of the enquiry, which irritated me, so I chose an alternative company. Maybe only a restriction on how many companies call and how often, would be a good idea.”

“Lowest price for EICR had not accounted for “5+ bedrooms”. Computer generated estimate was evidently for “1-3 bedrooms”. Website says all estimates include vat. Suppliers do not concur.”

“Out of the 4 companies only 2 said they could help even though I had stated what was required I think they should read what has been requested and required and not just think of money!”

“I contacted a few of the contractors on the list emailed to me but unfortunately none of them did Energy Performance Certificates, but one contractor did put me on the right track in finding what I required so thank you.”

“Thanks for asking, A bit frustrated with the selection offered as “local surveyors.” 1 was truly in our borough, and all the others were from various spots around... even 2.5 hrs away by car. We perhaps should have looked locally in another fashion. This application might be good for those looking for cheaper services from a wider area... it just didn’t suit us. We most want to support small business locally. We did get a quick response and some quick email follow ups from 2 or 3 who saw our request.”

“Quick response but ignored the postcode & only one was prepared to quote for Yorkshire, the rest were for Surrey or Hampshire”

“The site did provide a list of Surveyors but some (cheapest) were “aggregators” (that is organisations or rather websites) that link you to supposedly local firms. The Surveyors firms were all (for the property I was looking to have surveyed) National Chains with sometimes local offices. We wanted a local surveyor so in the end used the RICS website and local Googling.”

“I wrote a specific request to get some quotes but the sales people contacted me to provide the wrong services. I just went to the RICS site and found a suitable one!”
