“Don't order from this company. I ordered 3x tubs of mapei wood floor adhesive and the glue had gone off. Because I didn't open 3x sealed tubs of adhesive as soon as it was delivered I've got to swallow the cost. Joke of a company”

Leighton, I've had a chat with the Store and whilst we do ask for damages to be reported within 48hrs of delivery, we are flexible on this rule sometimes. The biggest issue here is that the goods were with you for over 5 weeks before you reported an issue which even goes beyond our 28 day return policy and means we can't claim from either the courier or Mapei. We have double checked all remaining stock in store and they are all sealed and ok so we believe that the damage occurred after despatch. I know it's not what you want to hear but I'm afraid on this ocassion that we cannot replace the affected 2 tubs. Best regards Ray Lilley Web Support

“Really friendly and helpful when I called, I needed some Fugabella grout same day and found that it was in stock here to collect, everywhere else was online only with next day delivery. Would definitely recommend.”

“The product is fine as described, however, we have an issue with the shipping, if they charge over £40 for next-day delivery and we bought it on Friday we would expect it to be sent Friday evening or late Saturday morning to be with us on Monday. To pay that much and the parcel arrives on Tuesday...... it's not right!”

Thanks for your review. We're sorry that the delivery didn't meet your expectations. Our shipments are effected on Monday to Friday with a cutoff of 12:30pm for wkg next day or 2 wkg days. Sometimes we can get these on the couriers van a bit later but I'm afraid your order was received on Friday at 16:38, 20 minutes before our store closes so we were unable to achieve it this time. The information is on the website against the product listing and product category. However, I will look and see if we cannot make this more prominent on the checkout page. Jim, We do try and keep costs down where we can on delivery and charges are reviewed regularly. I do understand that when the value of the delivery exceeds the value of the product it seems hard to quantify, but we still have to pcover delivery costs and unlike a lot of our competition, we don't ammortise the price of the delivery in with the goods themselves.
