I bought brushed brass wall panel trim, I think the actual colour is gold as it looks nothing like the brushed brass taps etc, however the chaps that fitted it have made an excellent job of it so I have decided to live with it but I think more thought needs to go into the labelling of colours.

Product is good, postage is a joke, put item into a box that would take 20 of them and try to justify it, I’ve just sent 17.5 kg insured for £50 for not much more, won’t use again

Hi Chris, Thanks for your review, although I can't really see an issue here. Your delivery charge was £7.50 which is pretty much standard for your product type. I can understand the frustration sometimes as the carriage charge was actually higher then the value of product you purchased, but we do not ammortize delivery costs within our product prices so the ratio can seem odd sometimes. The grinding disc I bought arrived in time. Unfortunately though it looked exactly like the old one it did not fit onto the center pin, I had to drill the hole bigger to make things work.

The tap and sink was good and easy to install but the bottle trap that came with the sinks didn’t fit so I had to then go and get two new ones

The product is fine as described, however, we have an issue with the shipping, if they charge over £40 for next-day delivery and we bought it on Friday we would expect it to be sent Friday evening or late Saturday morning to be with us on Monday. To pay that much and the parcel arrives on Tuesday...... it's not right!

Thanks for your review. We're sorry that the delivery didn't meet your expectations. Our shipments are effected on Monday to Friday with a cutoff of 12:30pm for wkg next day or 2 wkg days. Sometimes we can get these on the couriers van a bit later but I'm afraid your order was received on Friday at 16:38, 20 minutes before our store closes so we were unable to achieve it this time. The information is on the website against the product listing and product category. However, I will look and see if we cannot make this more prominent on the checkout page. Jim, We do try and keep costs down where we can on delivery and charges are reviewed regularly. I do understand that when the value of the delivery exceeds the value of the product it seems hard to quantify, but we still have to pcover delivery costs and unlike a lot of our competition, we don't ammortise the price of the delivery in with the goods themselves. Service was absolutely fine. The product is absolute rubbish. Wouldn't waste your money amd just use soapy water in a spray bottle. Does the same just better

5 star for the speedy service from Lilly tile and stone but 1 star for the DPD driver who left them at the wrong location and bust some of the grout bags because of the way he must of thrown the boxes about.

2 out of the 3 tubs arrived damaged, have sent pictures and a couple of emails asking for a refund for the 2 damaged items, as yet no reply.

John, very sorry to hear that. Can you confirm that you contacted store to replace the item? Whilst we do our best to ensure the products are as protected as possible, unfortunately, there are the occasional drops during the delivery process. We ask that any customer who is unfortunate enough to receive a damaged delivery, send a photo of the delivery through to the store on that day so we can urgently replace and also report to the courier. Great product range but terrible shipping. This is our third purchase and whilst Lilley Tile and Stone always have the right Schluter profiles in stock, without fail the courier company they use manages to mess up somehow. This time the parcel was both damaged (see photos for dented metal profile and ripped cardboard tube), and left at the wrong address. Our kind neighbour called round to explain it had been left by the roadside leaning against her garden gate. Thankfully ours is a quiet road, but it was out there all day and someone could easily have walked off with it. Please find a better courier company, your products are great!

Your product rust remover did not completely remove the rust staining from my 3ftx2ft concrete slabs and I was a bit disappointed after paying £45 for a 5 Liter container. The staining was caused by a 4 in one product grass fertilizer and I have not been able to remove stains completely. there must have been some kind of sulphur in it. Have you any ideas what might help to get rid of these fertilizer stains. Mr Farmer

Customer service is good, when I asked for advice they got back to me really quick! Disappointed with the Power Stripper as it didn’t work at all, therefore I couldn’t use the Natural Stone Sealer.

Great prices but packaged up very badly had to throw a 15kg tile adhesive away as all the tub was smashed on delivery

Stephen, sorry your product was not received in good condition. if you take an image upon receipt of goods damaged in transit and email to us straight away we will replace. The product always leaves us in prime condition, unfortunately sometimes damage occurs in transit that is beyond our control despite our best efforts.

Products OK. Delivery charges over the top. Should be a 3-4 delivery option as well as an expensive next day (whjch actually took 3 days).

David, many thanks for your review. Apologies for any confusion. The delivery you paid for was a standard 3-5 days delivery. Whilst we do accept that sometimes our deliveries can seem expensive, we do not ammortise our prices within our products like our competitors so your price ultimately remains cheaper. Also, sometimes we are also forced to ship products via certain methods as they are chemical in nature, even though low in value. This can look unbalanced when placing smaller orders but the delivery charge does not increase based on quantity or weight. Where we can, we reduce shipping charges for smaller orders but in this case your product unfortunately is picked up as a chemical item with all the regulations that ensue. I hope that helps at least clarify why sometimes the order value ratio to product value in some cases doesn't seem to follow.
